I've bought a lot of seedling trees through the mail over the years and now I never buy from the main suppliers because all I get from them are sticks without roots, doomed to fail. These seedlings were handled in the way the big companies did things in the 80's, if not better. All healthy, lots of root structure still on the plants, no grievous fatal wounds, and shipped packed in damp newspaper covered with plastic. For this time of year (early April) that is perfect. If they die later on, it's my fault, this supplier is expert.
