I've turned on so many people to these pens that I should get an endorsement. One friend who works at a restaurant also loves them, I buy her the purple ones which she doesn't lend to customers and she'd take anyone down who tries to 'borrow it' permanently. I have all colors and .3 , .5, and .7 mm tips just excellent pens. Smooth, smear free and comfortable.

Excellent fine lines with no mess! Medium shade of pretty purple...kinda like grape jelly...not sure what the other reviews are talking about it not being purple enough?

This model is my favorite pen. It gives a precise line with smoothness and fits perfectly in my female hand. Granted, I am 5'9", so when I purchase women's gloves I get a large. The color of the purple ink is not a deep purple, also not light, it is a medium color. For my taste, they could have gone a bit deeper in the purple hue. So, though the model of the pen itself is still my favorite, I will default back to their blue ink color, as that color is easiest on the eye and sets well on the page for reading.

It writes well on most all paper, the thinner discount type paper could tear if you have a heavy hand.I do wish the writing was smoother. Overall for a needlepoint retractable pen, this one is a winner!!

These pens work great. A very consistent flow of ink. It is a nice shade of purple.

Absolutely love these pens! I am constantly trying different pens, but these are the ones I have kept. I even put them through the washer once (maybe twice...) They are write wonderfully and feel great too! I used them both until they ran out of ink. (I feel like that's an accomplishment, just like using and finishing a tube of chap-stick!) I am a nurse so they took a lot of abuse and still held up. I definitely recommend.
