Compostable Hot Drink Cups 8oz / 230ml - Set of 50 - Biodegradable Takeaway Coffee Cups

Good strong cups, great for either hot or cold drinks. I love that they're biodegradable/compostable. The texture and size are very comfortable in the hand, and the cups easily withstand refills, so they're good for picnics and outdoor events, kids parties etc. They're a little pricey for paper cups, but I consider it worth it for the consistent good quality and eco-friendly benefits.

I used these to serve both hot and cold drinks during our church Jubilee celebrations. They are robust and hold their shape, and are cool enough to hold even when full of hot tea and coffee.

The cups themselves are fine but if you are selling eco-friendly cups, why post them in plastic wrap?! Just disappointed that there was little forethought in that people purchasing these would be trying to be eco-friendly and wouldn't want it to arrive in plastic wrap that isn't recyclable.

I question whether this is truly compostable. There is a warning stamped on the side of each cup saying that it contains plastic (the picture shows it posing a hazard to sea life).Printed in each cup is the statement “save our environment by using eco-friendly paper cups made from 100% compostable materials”. No claim that THESE cups ARE made of 100% compostable materials - and given the declared plastic content I worry that they are not compostable. There is no claim anywhere that the plastic element itself is biodegradable. The claims made are at best unclear and at worst misleading. You should do better Amazon! People want to make the right choices and you are making this impossible.

We wanted a green eco cup for an event about saving greenbelt from the bulldozer for environmental reasons. This was perfect.
