Why use synthetic and cheapest form of b12 cyanocobalamin (cyanide+cobalt) instead of methyl or hydroxy?? This form does not absorb orally.

Hey Lisa, fantastic question. Cyanocobalamin does absorb orally, but only half as much as methylcobalamin. The reason we use it is because there is a small subset of people unable to absorb methylcobalamin well, where as everyone absorbs cyanocobalamin.
