See's Candies 8 oz Silver Assorted Chocolate Box

I've bought See's Candy from Amazon before, and as expected, it was delicious. This is a tiny box, which is what I wanted. What I didn't expect was about a $25 shipping fee. When I lived in Washington state, that didn't happen. I moved to Texas, and I guess, because it's hot here, that necessitated a thermal box (way too big) with two ice pack bags, and lots of thermal wrapping. Totally unexpected.

See's candy made in California is a real treat. My sister lived in California for many years and would bring back a box of See's candy when she came back to visit us in Virginia. So delicious.

This chocolate came as described and tested good. The shipping is expensive, but worth it. I'll be buying again.

I have bought See candies in the store and they were very good but I was very disappointed with this purchase. I’m glad that I purchased 2 8oz boxes because I was going to give one away as a gift. The candy was all crammed together, and it looked an actual mess when I opened the box. I was not very satisfied with the taste because they were stale. I will never purchase again through the mail. Beware.
