After looking at the ingredients, it seems this is a mild insecticidal soap, but it doesn't contain any pesticides as such. It is basically horticultural soap. This is fine, as one of the ways to get rid of thrips is to thoroughly clean the plant leaves, although I don't know if it would be able to eradicate them completely due to their unusual life cycle. If you repeated the application often, it could work in theory. It would certainly be useful for preventative purposes, I have often noticed that when I'm able to wash my plant leaves more often there is a lesser chance of thrips and spider mite outbreaks. This soap could be a good option for those who are reluctant to use proper pesticides.The bottle is easy to spray from and seems to be good quality. I can't really comment on whether it works on thrips as I don't have an outbreak anymore, but it seems to have worked well for cleaning some spidermite-ridden plants. It also didn't damage my plant leaves at all, which is great. Overall I feel it's a nice product to try if you don't want to use pesticides.

The Thrips killer arrived quickly, securely packaged. Exactly as described IOn the site. It’s been efficient and I have ordered another from this seller , just in case.This product does exactly what it says

I have a number of house plants, a couple of which have suffered from thrips. I used this spray and gave several applications, and it does seem to have reduced the problem. I like the fact that the spray is soap based, and free of the more toxic chemicals, especially as it is for indoor use. My only quibble is the price - it is a small bottle and very expensive for the amount you get. However, if it does end up ridding my plants of these pests, I will consider it worth the money. Time will tell.

At £14.99 for just 200ml, this is a very expensive product in my opinion. The exact same ingredients (Aqua, Potassium Salts, Natural Soya Oils) are quoted on the labels of the various other specific insect control sprays under the ReadySteadyDefend brand name.I suppose it is possible that the ingredients are in different proportions for each product, but that level of detail isn't available to the customer, so I assume not.So, as far as I can tell, there is no good reason to buy more than one bottle, no matter which insects you are needing to control on your plants.Does it work? Not in my experience so far, unfortunately.But if you want to try it, the 'House Plant Bug Killer Spray 1 litre bottle' from the same seller appears to be exactly the same as this, and represents far better value for money.

The bottle is easy to assemble with the pump spray. I got this for indoor plants, as I don't like using chemicals for indoor plants, and this is soap based. I have treated an indoor cyclamen which has small white thrips I can't seem to eradicate by cleaning myself with soap and cotton buds, so I hope this does the trick. Will report back how well it works. There is no unpleasant smell with it, which is a bonus.Edit - a couple of days later and all the thrips seem to have disappeared, so it looks like the spray is working. If they do return I shall use it again with confidence.

This product smells mild, a nice scent. But it really does nothing for thrips. I have used it 3 days apart and they're just rife.
