Excellent tool for cleaning
This is really easy to use. I cleaned the sofa fabric recently and it came up so clean. It is quick to use and there is no fiddly attachments. Its been so useful for me as I have two dogs who have muddy paws and also a grandchild who spills everything!

Two messy pets, one saviour carpet cleaner
It was the smell that woke me. But the sight, on the landing at 2.30 that morning, was worse - it was nothing short of poomageddon. Our new rescue dog, 9 months old, hasn't really mastered going to the toilet where he should yet and had saved up the poo to end all poos for that fateful night.Added to that we have an old cat who's gradually getting a bit pukey and generally less committed to the whole idea of pooing and weeing where we'd like instead of wherever she fancies. So all in all we've had several occasions when I've been really glad to have invested in the Little Green Carpet Cleaner. Previously it would have been a case of getting a bowl, rubber gloves, carpet shampoo and a sponge, lots of faff and numerous changes of water. But this machine, once the 'solids' are bagged up and disposed of, makes a very simple and quick job of spraying and then sucking up any stain. Repeat the process as many times as needed to feel like you have got it all (I also bought a UV torch from Amazon; it reveals urine stains so you can check whether it's all gone and deter pets from going again on the same spot, which they're prone to do.) The carpet is still a little damp afterwards, even if you do the sucking part several times, but it takes less than a day to dry.I did debate for a while whether to buy this machine - the price is a bit more than I wanted to pay - but that night I was beyond grateful to have it, and it now sits in the utility room ready for its next stinky skirmish with whatever my cat and dog can throw at it.

Impressed enough that I'll replace faulty product
Update on last review - after several very impressive uses I'd to bring it out again this morning after finding my elderly dog had had an accident through the night, no problem I thought, I've got my Bissell, as I'm successfully cleaning the carpet the hose has sprung a leak behind me and the dirty water (polite phrasing) was spraying everywhere including over myself, took me longer to clean and disinfect that than the original mess, I've scheduled a return and replacement as I liked this so much I'm prepared to give it another go in the hope that it was a one off product fault. If you're mulling over buying this I'd suggest hang fire till I give No 2 a run for its money .....Gave it a test run soon after delivery and it's already got rid of a couple of carpet stains, old cat wee mark that I've scrubbed away time and again and this is the first time I'm confident the smell is non existent, the other was one I thought might be more difficult, a mark from my dogs skin cream which left a grease line, all gone along with an embarrassing amount of dirt that came out with it. Left the carpet drier than I expected. Easy to store, not a massive amount of loose tools that could get misplaced (like my vacuum cleaner has) has a 2 year manufacturers guaranteeI can also see this being pretty useful for car upholstery stains.Drawbacks, refilling if using for a larger area could be a bit annoying as the tank level goes down pretty fast even though it's easy to do and hose is bit short which means kneeling down but that would be the case if I was manually cleaning anyway

Great little machine
Great little machine, so glad I bought it, I bought a second hand chair that was filthy but loved the design, it is cream, WOW it got it beautifully clean, but I didn’t use the Bessel liquid, I purchased a gallon of carpet and upholstery cleaner off Amazon, I’m sure it’s success was down to that too.

Glorified but feeble wet vac?
The media could not be loaded. Having never used one of this type of machine before, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was more than I got. Maybe I'm being unrealistic? Hopefully the video uploads and will be helpful to someone.(never done a video review before)I will also add that the 2-in-1 crevice tool was missing from the (still factory sealed box) box which Bissell customer service didn't want to help with and referred me back to Amazon who were pretty good at a workaround, gave me credit to order the part from them separately.I have also added a couple of pics for results once dry .... still not impressed, results are patchy at best on a piece of carpet we use as a doormat so it does get pretty dirty but it just proves to me that it's the amount of shampoo you squirt on rather than the cleaning ability of the machine. Also a full tank of solution was used in the end but I only got about an inch of water back out. The suction is poor, very poor and requires you to push down hard enough to get a result that I felt I might break the brush off the hose. According to an answered question on this page, the machine should have very strong suction, mine doesn't - at all. I have a pore cleaner with better, this thing doesn't even convincingly suck at your arm if you put it on to test, my pore cleaner would give you a sort of mini hickey if left for say 15 seconds, this thing wouldn't achieve it in a fortnight - if ever .....so may be faulty?Either way, I'm seriously unimpressed with the machine .....shampoo solution seems alright, but so it should be at £10 -£15 a bottle!!

Effective spot cleaner
Love this product. With two young children and a cat, we have to use it regularly. We’ve managed to get up stains quickly. They recommend using the special branded cleaning products but we find soapy water is effective too. Would definitely recommend.
