Just what I needed
I needed an inexpensive light for my UV resin projects. Since I'm a beginner, I didn't want a major investment unless I found that I really wanted to do a lot of resin work. This works really quickly, tucks away into my craft cart, and recharges really quickly via USB. This was a really wise first purchase, but I think I can expect it to be useful for all of my small uv resin projects. If I decide to do larger projects I may switch to two-part epoxy resin.

Updated review * NOT*Disappointed - Only used 2 times
Updated review - I was boxing the old light to return and it turned on! The replacement came and let's just say I'm using both lights now. I will not be returning the original . Hope I didn't just jinx it ...Original review - I used the light to affix fairy lights to cups. I made 2 cups. It no longer turns on. Ruined the cup I tried to work on since UV resin requires the light to work. I work full time, doing projects in between. Now I have NO light to finish my project and have to go out of my way to return it. Who knows how long for replacement

It’s ok
It’s ok for curing OSBANG UV resin that I use to clear coat fishing lures. (Thin coat) It’s not great but not bad. Takes twice as long than you would expect for a supposed 54 watts. A trade off for portability and small form factor I guess…….. If you’re not in “production” or in a hurry it will be adequate.

Top heavy
Light is very weak. Its top heavy and doesnt stand up on its own when opened.

Liked the brightness, not the design.
This light has great “power” and brightness but it’s base is not heavy enough to hold up the lamp when extended, and the on/off switch on mine was defective because it would shut off when I moved the lamp around.

Perfect
I was just getting started with uv resin and was using a small flash light I got from the local craft store. The flash light was trash and only worked half of the time. I saw this one day and decided to give it a try and it’s amazing. Perfect size to cure about three to four pendants at a time and so bright. The battery has lasted me an entire day without dying. For the price this is amazing and I love how it folds up and is small enough to store without it being in the way unlike those giant nail lights some people use.
