This is as small but powerful recorder. It is simple to operate but performs that simple function at a high level. It can record at three resolution bitrates and from low to high resolution lossless levels. At any resolution, to my ear it records sound and voices remarkably well. The clarity is very very good. Configuration is through computer USB-C connection. Just change levels and options found in a simple file in the player appearing as a 64gb flash drive. The default setting out of the box works just great for me, but nice to know I can increase sensitivity, recording quality and noise reduction levels if needed. The capacity to record and the battery life is good for a long, long really long time and is easily recharged with included USB-C cable. It comes with a USB-C headphone which is good for listening to playback directly. Only the included headphones worked for me as this Aotaorec did not recognize my own headphones or USB-C audio cable adapters. This is of little concern as files are very easily and best accessed with included adapters and cables via computer or phone. Though good to check on recording on the go via included headphones, with its capacity and quality of recording you will probably be using a computer or cell phone for downloading deleting, manipulating and archiving the recordings anyway.This is a very small, slightly cube like, about half the size of a standard ice cube with sensitive dual microphones. From the outside of the unit options are simple as well. An on and off button which activates recording or turning off saves the recording. Simple. Then there's a switch for choosing voice activated or continuous recording. That's about it. That's about all you need to record anything anywhere. Simple. Inexpensive. It records and does it in a small package. Five Stars as it does what it says, does it well and does it for a good price.

It's ok, not very good instruction.

I really like the voice activation recording feature, and the recording quality is quite good. However, the app did not work for me, so I have been using a USB connection to transfer the files directly to my computer, which is somewhat of a hassle. The battery charge lasts for about two days. I wish there were a Bluetooth option to upload the files wirelessly.
