Q: Does the 10lbs package come as a bay of hay or it packaged in a bag?

This hay came in a bag. I have to add that the individual slabs were stuck together. Hay was not very green and I had to break then apart to fluff them up. It smelled fragrant and there was no evidence of mold, but I don’t think I will order from “Grandpa” again.

Q: I bought this and my rabbit will not eat it. It does not smell good, it smells like dust, dirt dust not hay dust. Has anyone else had this problem?

My guinea pigs won't eat the dry, stiff, old hay. It is nothing like the green soft hay they promised. Obviously, hay is gathered at certain times of the year and then gets dried out over time. This cost more than $30 and there is no way that I can get a refund or exchange. It is hit or miss.

Q: I want this for a set decoration, not for feed. Is this is a real bale that would come out intact from the bag?

Yes. It looks like the 3rd picture with the pink/red straps—a mini bale of hay , only as wide as the bag.

Q: Are they sturdy often to sit on?

No, Not for a human. These bales a very small. Like maybe a foot by 2 feet. They are not full size square bales that you see in feed stores.
