JURASSIC WORLD STEM PLAYLEONTOLOGY Kit

Had a wonderful time digging this out with my nephew, and he had a blast too. Great bonding and learning experience. It is rather difficult to get some of the parts together afterwards though, so your child will definitely need help. Looks AMAZING when assembled though, so it is well worth the effort. It is also perfectly in scale with the other Mattel figures and dinosaurs. 👍

We opened this present up pretty immediately after Christmas morning and my boys loved digging, hammering, etc to get to all the “fossils”. It made a huge mess which was fine...we kinda figured that was part of it. Nothing a vacuum couldn’t handle. They needed a little assistance putting it together as the pieces fit very tightly. One of the leg pieces comes out pretty easily bc we can’t seem to actually get the pieces to snap all the way together but also my boys are at the age where they take it apart all the time so that could be the issue also. Overall it was a great gift and they still play with it 2 months down the road.

Best investment for my autistic son. He spent hours on this during quarantine. Now it does make a complete mess, so be prepared to do this in an area that is easy to mop afterwards. I let my son be done to his unders because of the dust that it does release.

My son absolutely loved this! Best done outdoors and with a handkerchief mask to keep the dust out of your lungs. We used safety glasses too, just in case a chip of the plaster went flying. My 4 year old worked pretty hard at this, and after a few sessions he got all of the bones free (with my help). The display/toy is awesome to play with. He took it with him everywhere for a few days and people asked where we got it. We were very impressed with this item.

Such fun finding the "bones", expect messy and very difficult to put together once all the bones are found (use a hammer at times to get them in place). It is overall 21 bones that are needed to be found, took 30 minutes to find the last bone, but it was because they attached the two hip bones together (they just pull apart when found). Instructions were kind of easy to follow but overall not bad. But be prepared that the bones are NOT labeled with their numbers on them. Again, overall a great time and the end result is completely worth it!

Great fun! My 4 year old loved every part of this (except maybe washing the clay off lol) toy is ver solid with some decent posability when assembled. Good size to be in scale with other Jurassic World toys. The "DNA activator" gimmick thing is lame, and means the mouth is not able to be closed without some modifications, but doesn't really detract.

I’ve bought this playleantology kit twice now for two different boys birthdays but it would be an awesome gift for any kid who likes dinosaurs. The boys were turning 7 and 8. Both times the moms sent me pictures of her kid posing with the completed dinosaur, and saying it was a fun and enjoyable gift.My 4 year old daughter was a little envious and wanted the kit for herself so when she is a little older we will probably be buying this kit a third time and doing it ourselves. It’s amazing how much fun the kids have digging out the pieces, which was a time consuming process.

First let me just say that this IS messy! But it was worth it having my 5 yo so entertained. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with severe allergies or respiratory problems. Best if you did this as an outdoor activity to minimize clean up.
