Great Coverage and Smooth Finish, Just Needs a Bit of Drying Time
I used this MDF primer paint for a recent project, and overall, I’m really impressed! The primer provides excellent coverage, even on raw MDF surfaces, and creates a smooth base that really enhances the topcoat. It fills in the porous surface of MDF well, leaving a consistent finish without soaking in too much.Application was easy, and the primer spread evenly without any streaks. I only needed one coat in most areas, which saved me a lot of time and effort. My only minor issue is that it takes a bit longer to dry than I expected, so plan accordingly. Once dry, though, it sands down easily and leaves a perfect surface for painting.Highly recommend for anyone working with MDF—just allow a bit of extra time for drying!

Good MDF Primer - Performed as hopes
I bought this MDF primer to prepare some MDF wardrobes that had been built for my by a carpenter.I followed advice online to sand the MDF before the first coat using a coarse sandpaper, and then sand again after each coat with increasingly fine sandpaper.I used 2 coats of this product before moving onto my topcoat. The finish is fantastic and I have good faith is the quity of this paint to have suitably prepared the MDF boards.I am not a tradesman but an amateur and was happy overall with this product. I only wish it was a little bit cheaper, but who wouldn't

Excellent value MDF primer with good application
I have used this to prime new MDF skirting boards, MDF floating wall shelves and MDF joinery frames prior to applying Dulux top coats of various colours. One coat is usually sufficient to provide an even surface for final paint finishes, and I have found it easy to apply with a medium pile 4" roller or a cutting in brush. The price is excellent and lower cost than other MDF primers.

Perfect.
Brilliant. So we'll packaged, it could survive any rough handling in transit. Perfect undercoat for MDF. Decent price.

Roll on.
Arrived on time and it was used that day. Used to prime MDF for my campervan conversion and it did just that the only thing i would say is if you brush it on you will need two coats or it will be streaky finish but if you use a roller it only needs one coat and you will get a better finish. Water based so cleaning up very easy.
