I've been wanting to add dip resin to my collection for some time. This didn't disappoint! It's very similar to the Dip It! Fantasy Film I used in my youth, but stronger. Making petals with regular resin is a real challenge if you want them shaped, rather than flat, as it involves tape, which doesn't always work very well without seepage under the wires. This is so much easier, being able to make more natural shapes, dip, drip off the excess then cure while rotating under the UV light. I've made a very pretty flower pendant with leaf accent so much easier and quicker than using tape, with much better results.It's more expensive than regular UV resin, but as it's only needed for very specific projects elements, this should last a long time.

It is mostly dry after a 60-second cure, but I gave mine 3 lots of 60-seconds under a LED UV lamp (I used the one I have for gel nails), rotating it and ensuring both sides are done.Despite it being really well wrapped, there was a bit of seepage. Only about 1/4 of a teaspoon had worked itself out of the tub but remained in the wrapping. It cleaned easily with a facial wet wipe and a finishing wipe with an alcohol soaked pad.You are somewhat limited to the size of your creation by the width of the tub, but you can do items separately and build them together. And, don't forget to leave a length of wire attached so that you can dip it without getting your fingers in it.
