1 Gal. Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus) Live Shrub, Blue Flowers

I received a gorgeous healthy although small plant it was growing good and taller than I expected. Within a short time it has grown very well and has flower buds getting ready to open.

Sent to west central Florida arriving like it was just out of the ground. A beautiful green leaved mallow with lots of buds. Now blooming with a beautiful light pink double flower & lots more buds. While there are plenty of hibiscus, including hybrid, here in Florida, these mallows from the northern climes do just as well. They go dormant in winter but I have plenty of other plants & flowers to enjoy (& care for). The quality of the plant & shipping care gives this an A+ 5 stars.

I received this two days quicker than anticipated and it looks in great shape out of the box. It's happily planted in its new home and I look forward to watching it flourish.Update - year two for my lil guy and he's doing great. Loving all the blooms :)

I have had this beautiful plant in my cart for about a year now, and finally just splurged and ordered it a week or two ago. It arrived and was placed outside of my door sideways (even with the ‘This side up’ markings. Oops!) I was surprised at how small the plant was, it looks pretty healthy, but still, small, compared to the description and pictures that are listed. I realize that I ordered at a time when the plants shipped would be dormant, but was expecting a larger plant. I went ahead and repotted it. However, I decided to reach out to Proven Winners directly and they answered quickly and were very helpful. They are sending a replacement and I will update with the new plant review once I receive it. Four stars for the customer service. Thank you!

This arrived very healthy with a beautiful foliage and bigger than what I had imagined for the size of plant I ordered. Covered with a bunch of flower buds. Really impressed.

I have taken every good care of the plant. The leaves started falling off. I have had it 16 days. I am giving it one star until I see if it will bud out. It is now June so plant is not dormant. update: still no sign of life. update: Still no sign of life. I decided to repot plant and see if that helps. Surprise. The little pot was full of long roots about 12 or 13 inches long all in a ball squeezed in that little pot. I put in larger pot with miracle grow potting soil. Wait and see. Update June 17th. No sign of life. Still no buds. I am heart broken. I so wanted this plant in white. Apparently, they do no do refunds. The least they could do is send me a replacement plant. I am very disappointed. I am 81 and on a fixed income. Buyer beware.

Beautiful flowers. I planted this one in a pot, has had several blooms. Will plant in ground after it grows larger. I have several althea, most are about 10' tall. Great shrubs, actually trees. Several colors, they bloom all summer. This one is "blue" but has purple look also, much more blue than my purple ones. Good choice for yard, very colorful and resilient.

I just received this, and must admit, I had low expectations ordering it from amazon. I have purchased Rose of Sharon's from Proven Winners at my local garden shops but decided I wanted a pink chiffon and they were all out of that particular one. Took a chance and ordered it and my low expectations were dashed. The plant arrived FULL of blooms and buds and very very healthy. Extremely happy. Going to let it rest today and will be planting it tomorrow. So if you are hesitant to order online I say take the chance, it was much larger than the 6-18" as stated in the description and was shipped in a tall upright box with holes. Can't wait to order more!
