I made tomato passata with this passatutto and I am absolutely satisfied. It did the job and it is easy to use and clean.

Excellent thing. Used it to make 2 litres passata yesterday and works really well. I suspect I will find other uses for itas I make lots soups and jams where I would usually try to put things through a sieve.The metal it's made from could be a little thicker, but then again it's not very expensive and I don't think it will affect longevity.

Works ok but it’s so tiny I can only do one potato at a time

i got this to use for tomatoes to make pasta sauce but this year i also had had an abundance of small damsons so i used this to help stone the damsons to use for making wine it did a great job in a lot less time than it would have took me stoning them by hand. it is a bit fiddly to clean as it can get clogged up

I grow tomatoes in a greenhouse. I therefore get a tomato glut.Turning Roma or Astro into passata is made easy with this. Just do it the Italian way: prick and blanch the tomatoes for a few minutes. The passatutto will do the rest and remove the skin.I haven't used something so simple and effective for years.

I could say "easy to use" but, I would be quoting from the amazon pointers. It is sometimes a struggle to engage the spring loaded bar. It is not easy to clean either, which is mainly due to the quantity of build-up of un-minced food during use which then gets on hands while disassembling to wash it. Unlikely to get used very often due to these issues.

I found this gadget very good to use my only fault was that the blue knob could be made movable to make using it easier, that's my only fault.
