I ordered 30mg because I eat a balanced diet. I read that there are various types of Zinc supplements, so I ordered Zinc mmcc for my needs. there's no flavor because they are powder-filled capsules. Take with meal and water for best results.

I get some zinc in my multivitamin, but not enough so my doctor asked me to change my dosage to 50mg total, this gets me as close as I can be, without going over, at 48mg per day. I pair zinc with copper 3mg for the best chance of absorbing it.

I purchased this for my dog as the vet recommended zinc for his hyperkeratosis. He's been on this for about 45 days, 60mg/day, and the keratosis on his paws is reducing. They look so much better. Zinc-who knew!Anyway, the biggest reason why I like this particular version is because you can easily open the capsules to dump out the zinc. I add this to my dog's food this way. Thought it might be helpful for others to also know that you can easily pull the capsule apart.

No issues other than--i did have some gas after the first capsule. Not sure if it's the capsules or not. Will update.
