I have not used this product thus far, with hopes that I never have to do so. But, based on its suction capacity and ease of use, I believe it will be a very effective tool in addressing a choking situation. The potential benefit, in my opinion, far out weights the cost!

Quality construction. Simple to understand and use. My saliva glands don't work as well as they used to for getting food down without getting stuck and I can't give myself a heinlich maneuver so I love the peace of mind of having this close to hand.

I hope I never have to use it. I choked on a piece of candy when I was 13. Luckily my mother did the Heimlich maneuver on me. Well, mom has passed, and I don't have anyone around to perform that so this is a last option.
