Peter's Line Almanac: Volume 3 (Peter's Line Almanacs)

An entertaining and thought provoking book from a uniquely creative mind
If you've watched Peter's videos on YouTube—you'll know just what to expect from this book. His drawings seem to come from the same imaginative place his writing does—and both feel like he is accessing his own brand of unique and clever "stream of consciousness" creativity—which is both entertaining and thought provoking. The book is not a slick publication—and sometimes feels a bit low-fi—but that suits Peter's style IMO.If you're not sure about a purchase head over to Peter Draws on YT—and you'll probably come back to Amazon to pick up a copy of this book.

My eyes wants to touch the drawings!
Today I'm a proud owner of this wonderful book. Peter, hello from the Philippines!Ever since I found him on YouTube I've been fascinated by his art. His whimsical approach to almost anything is just so refreshing. Owning a copy of this book is special. I can finally touch his drawings and see the lines up close. Hopefully one day I can own an original piece. I've never been inspired in my artistic "journey" until I found Peter's channel and his way of doing things and his art has helped me not to overthink too much and just keep putting down that ink on paper. It's very liberating. That all being said, buy this book. It's worth your money and inspiration.

A journey of wonderful creativity...
This is possibly the best Line Almanac I've seen, and I say that because it is volume 3 and I haven't seen books 1 and 2 yet. I may need to wait until next payday for those! I don't know whether i like the poetic prose or the drawings more, but together they make a book that I will read many many times...once would never be enough! Thanks Peter! I remember watching you draw some of the illustrations in the book on your YouTube channel which makes it even more fun to actually see them in book form. Any artist would enjoy adding this book to their library.

Great little book for fans of his art, wish printing were higher quality -
The art is great, but the printing is fairly low quality in terms of ink and paper, wish it were a little better. Not a deal breaker by any means but my only real complaint -

Everything
Peter takes the entire universe, and maybe some more stuff, into his brain through a funnel, his brain then smooshes it all together into some kind of incredibly meaningful, yet almost entirely abstract, collection of everythingness, and then carefully and delicately, and occasionally explosively, extrudes it onto paper (or canvas or trash cans or his skin...) for the world to imbibe. His an ink scientist and a visual philosopher. And I love him.I think you do too. Even if you don't know it yet!

Playful and ingenious
Peter's content provides the unexpected and is pleasantly irregular. Between drawings and wordles you will enjoy a poem that includes "happlesauce" or something that sounds mostly right but is completely not. I could not be happier with this little book and would recommend it to anyone interested in the whimsical and mischievous.

Inspiring
I have been a long time fan of Peter's work. This book was not a let down. It is a mixture of his intensely detailed line work along with some word soup that gives a look into what makes his work so unique. I would definitely recommend his work to anyone.

I love Peter's creativity and style
I love Peter's creativity and style. He draws essentially nothing, but it is so amazing to stare at. My wife and I enjoy the book and are showing friends all about him. Gotta love Peter!

He's done it again!
Peter's done it again. The guy has a beautiful mind, and he's brought his A-game again. So many beautiful illustrations to stare at. Every line speaks volumes, every shape captivates. I wish I could get a peek in his brain.

106 Seiten Peter Draws pur!
