AMAZING!
I have tried SO MANY chewable treats and this is the only one my cat will eat. She isn't usually a very picky cat, but the other brands she wouldn't touch. I was getting low on her Viralys maple flavored liquid one, so I figured I'd give these a try since she was tired of getting fed 2.5ml of a gel twice a day. When I first gave her one of these chews, she refused it, however, she was currently having a flare up and her nose was congested. So, I gave her the Viralys liquid one last time and the next morning her symptoms had subsided, so I gave these chews another try and she gobbled it up. My advice, if your cat is currently flaring and refuses these the first time, try them again once the flare up is done...chances are they will take it. This has the same amount of Lysine as the Viralys and it's only 1 chew twice a day.

It really helped
My FIV+ cat did not react well to the house painters last month, and started sneezing and throwing up constantly--not a good sign for any cat. I tried giving her these and it helped immediately. She calmed down and the symptoms stopped. She loves her twice-a-day treats, and I'm ordering more.I gave this product a 4-star review because our other cat won't touch them. That works fine for us (she doesn't need them), but I do understand the other frustrated reviewers who said their cats would not eat these treats.

Must have for sickly cats.
I’ve been subscribed to these treats for a few months, we used to get them through out Vet but they actually recommended buying through Amazon for a better price, you save more with the subscription. Highly recommend, my cat will go through sneezing fits and really watery eyes. These seem to help with both of these issues give her a better quality of life and she loves the taste. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Better price on Amazon.

4 cats said "No way!"
I have 4 cats and not one would eat these. I tried many times. They would sniff it and walk away. I had to throw them away.

the best of the ones i've tried
I have tried all of the lysine treats amazon offers and i think i am sticking with this one. there's a pattern that my sweet but runny eyed cat displays (he was exposed to feline herpes as a kitten and one eye frequently weeps, gets red, irritated and crusty...lysine helps and is a lot better for him than the steroids the vet would otherwise prescribe)...elroy loves treats and will eat any lyscine treat initially, but then gets turned off and fights eating them. (though he never tires of the kitty crack treats you get at the store, like temptations)...but this one, being the highest dose treat, works the best. right now, he is still eating them voluntarily most of the time and because of the high dosage only needs to eat one (maintenance) or two (actively runny eye) a day. i break them in half and sometimes mix them with the treats he loves and he eats them. sometimes he turns his nose up (gives it the paw shake that means, take it away) and i break them in half and gently push them in his mouth while holding his head up. since i sometimes have to do this, being able to do it once (instead of multiple times with other treats) works best for us. he is still eating these voluntarily most of the time, which is longer than with the other treats. so think we are switching for good. lysine does work -- it stops my human cold sores when they are still developing...helps elroy's runny eye...and boosts both our immune systems. (i take HUMAN L-lysine from the drug store. the treat aren't THAT temping. ) so if your cat is on a lysine regime...i recommend these for taste, tolerance, and the high dosage.

work well but the cat hates them.
I bought these a few weeks ago for our cat who has constant eye drainage on recommendation of the vet. We had previously tried one of the pastes, which was messy and a pain to give to him. These chews do seem to make a difference quickly, probably due to the high dosage of Lysine in them.Unfortunately, the cat hates them. Yes they are huge (I would say a little smaller than a Mentos mint). They're soft but not super soft. I tried to give them to the cat- he looked at me like I'd lost my mind. I tried breaking it into smaller pieces- he still wanted nothing to do with it. I even soaked the pieces in tuna juice- no deal. At this point I break each chew into 5 pieces, hold open his mouth, drop it down his throat, and hope he doesn't spit it back on my chest.Truthfully though- my other cat (who has no need for these chews) DOES like them and will eat one if I break it up and leave it for her. So just be aware- not all cats love these!
