This was a disaster. It fit on my head just fine, but as soon as I tried to punch the holes to grab the hair, it either made the hole too large, tore past the hole, or you had to punch several times just to get hair to pull thru. After 6 attempts with trying to get hair strands thru, it was very apparent that going forward with this process was clearly a mistake. Tossed in the garbage.

I’ve used these caps for years & they’re the best. Hair can be pulled out at the root & can’t slip back in leaving spots. Highly recommend for those of us doing our hair from home.

Don’t fit heads very well at all. They’re HUGE!!! The plastic/rubber is so thick, it’s extremely difficult to get needle to poke through to pull hair out. Will not purchase again. Had to throw away because it takes too long to fight each hole:(

During this COVID-19 quarantine, needed to cover roots only at home. There are little dots all over the caps for your placement of dye coverage. You just choose the holes and use the little hook that was provided with each of the caps. The silicone was a little reluctant to poke through, but I was able to use ice pick. Great concept, but my hair just did NOT cooperate or like being pulled through the cap. I'm going to try making the holes larger for my fussy hair lol. Thank you for a nice product at a very decent price.

so I haven't used it yet DAMN COVID!! my niece usually does my hair for me and well I'm staying away from her and my great niece well mostly my great niece I don't wanna get her sick if I happen to catch it... but other then the scary hair puller I like this little cap and it does fit my head so I will just make the holes before we go to finish my hair cuz OUCH my head haha but that's with the cheap streaking caps you get in the store those damn things hurt and rip to easily this little cap I'll be able to use again and again

I did a test with the needle that comes with the hole, and the silicone broke a lot, making a big hole in the cap, so, if the goal is to make fine highlights, this will be impossible. Very hard and difficult to use this cap of silicon.

It is normal to have to poke the holes prior to use. Caps that are punched by manufacturers fail to actually make holes where the perforations are, so this ensures accuracy. The material is nice and thick so bleach will not seep through to unwanted areas. Preparation took less than a few minutes.
