Q: Does the interior flake off?

We’ve had them for 2+ years. Never flaked a bit. We do use the liners that came with them, placed in between them when putting them away. And we only use wood or plastic utensils on them. And no metal cleaning devices. They are very, very good.

Q: Is it better to get the non-induction pans if I am going to put these in the dishwasher?

To be honest, I do not put my Magma non-stick pots or pans in the dishwasher. I have put other induction compatible pans which are not non stick in the dishwasher without any issues but never the non stick variety. Perhaps that is just my own bias.

Q: Why does my magma a10-366-2-ind cookware not work with my induction cooktop? it’s apparently non magnetic since a magnet doesn’t adhere to the bottom

Check the bottom of each piece in the set and inside of the circular stamp located in the center of each pot/pan ensure it say's, "Magnetic Induction".
