Works!!
My new kitten has had a runny eye and sneezing since we picked her up. Vet put her on antibiotics and eye drops. They worked until she came off them. We have gone back multiple times only to be told she’s fine some cats just have runny eyes. Beyond irritated I did my own research and found this. She’s been on it just over a week and I have already seen marked improvement. I don’t have to clean her face multiple times a day.

slightly less effective but more palatable than most
Slightly less effective than the human grade supplement I was using, but more palatable, so it balances out. My cat had begun to refuse food that was "contaminated" with the supposedly tasteless, odorless kind, but seems a little less bothered by this one. One important thing to know. The company claims that it's granules and not a fine powder. I don't know why they make this claim. It is a powder, and finer than most, so it mixes into food more easily than others.

Works but im confused
First of all it works. I have 5 cats and a jar lasted about a month. We have tried everything to help 2 of my cats who suffer from chronic runny noses. This definitely made a difference! But im confused as to what the product is supposed to be like. The first jar it was sandy in color and texture. The second jar is a white powder. The second jar came with a scoop and the first did not. Both jars worked, just a side note.

Great product, more ounces than most other brands
This product may seem expensive at first glance, when you're comparing items to buy, but then with further scrutiny, you realize that it has Many more ounces per jar than most others, and if you're using a lot of it often enough, than it's worth it to spend a little more for more ounces of product. I do cat rescue, & have feral cat colonies I care for, so I do go through quite a bit of L-Lysine.The product is a finely ground powder that is naturally liver flavored for palatability & compliance.Cats can be pretty picky w/ certain flavors, but I haven't had any issue with non-compliance with this one. I highly recommend it!

It's fine but messy
First problem was finding the little scoop - which was buried near the bottom of the little jar. Wasted a whole lot of the powder to get the scoop out. Every time I open the jar to dispense some of the powder, more of the powder ends up all over the counter. I was purchasing capsules of Lysine for my cat - just open the capsule and dump it into the bowl. I will be going back to the capsules as soon as the rest of this is either used or all over the kitchen.Oh - the cat had no problem with consuming it (she didn't have a problem with the other stuff either).

The best so far cuz they'll eat it
So far day 1 it's amazing. I got all my cats to eat it which is something I couldn't do with several other brands that I wasted money on. The only concern I have is I hope it's good being the white powder because of the review I read where they're not supposed to be on the shelves someone told her. When she contacted the seller. So I've contacted the seller myself and asked them if the white powder is any good to make sure it is before continuing administering it to my cats. I will update my sick cats health within the next few days or weeks. She has stayed with runny eyes and a runny nose spewing boogers and snot everywhere since the day she got here when she's not on antibiotics. And I can't keep her on antibiotics forever so. I'll let you know if it clears up.

My cat and I , we both reject it.
On jar description: manufactured for Strawfield. By whom ?My cat is used to and doing well on dry Purina One food. She came to our household with cat herpes and secondary heavy bacterial infection of upper respiratory system and eyes. After antibiotic treatment, doctor prescribed chewable L-Lysine, 500 mg per tablet. Tablets were easily broken to smaller pieces and put on top of Purina small chunks. She liked them and eating first. After running out of prescription Lysine, I purchased this jar. Made in USA, with supposedly seal of approval, 200 servings and reasonable price looked like easy choice. Unfortunately she immediately lost appetite. Instead of getting use to new taste, she was eating less and less. Today she ate very little of "tainted" by this drug food on breakfast and refused to touch ifood to the end of day. This made me desperate to the point that having no option to ask her why, I decided to be a guinea pig. O.M.G.! ! ! It was terrible. Salty and with kind of terrible aftertaste hard to describe. After 4 hours this aftertaste refused to go away. I hope I will not get up sick tomorrow. Poor cat, she was forced to swallow full scoop every day. I only took about 1/4 of gram (their miniature scoop). So after preparing her new food without L-lysine, throwing to garbage this jar and flashing my still terrible aftertaste with bottle of Heineken, I sat down to write this review. Many positive reviews suggested that I was unlucky and in minority, but because I purchased this jar well in advance of opening it first time, I run out of warranty date over week ago.
