This descaler would be harsh on your lime scale n very gentle on your drums chrome coating along with the rubber bedding. It's effective. Removes smell from machines, shines them too, descalers are important for maintenance of your machines, i use it once every 2 months for both my dishwasher and washing machine.

We have been using it regularly for 10 years with out Bosch front load. It cleans and keeps the drum shining. It also helps with the smell. Use one packet each 6 months or if you live in hard water location, each 3 months. Your machine will be neat and clean and working for years.
