What makes this tape really good and for some reason nobody else copy them is the fact that they add all fractions on the table, and on both sides! You have all details from 2/16 to 15/16, which makes your life in the US so much easier when measuring this crazy American fractional system haha! It becomes so easy to use! Honestly this tape made me learn fractions in such way that today I'm more comfortable with fractions than with millimeter. The white tape color is unique, also rarely see that around. Size is compact and tape is protected with a layer of robber, which makes it drop resistant. The accuracy is pristine, as mentioned above, you are not doing math to know where is 5/8, or 13/16. for the price is the number of benefits, totally recommended! There is one negative aspect of this 16' version here: The body length of the 25' model is 3" long, confirmed, but the body length of the 16' is actually 2 3/4", but it's written 3 feet on it, small flaw.

I've been lugging around a cumbersome, fat, 25ft tape measure for finish work, and realized I rarely need any measurement over 16ft for finish work. Then I found this little guy at the recommendation from some finish carpenters. It's great! It has every 16th measured out in its common measurement (1/16, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, etc.). I don't really need that due to years of conditioning reading a tape measure, but I find it oddly nice to have there. There's a writing surface which is handy for recording measurements, and even a pencil sharpener. I use a Pica-Dry, so have no need for this, but in a pinch I could see how it would come in handy. I did try it out and it didn't seem to be the most ideal sharpener.The stop action is nice. There's a quick hold-down stop, as well as a locking stop. The retraction coil on the tape measure is quite strong, so be careful letting it fly back into the base. Don't let the cheap price fool you. It's awesome.

Best tape measure I own, and I own SEVERAL. Saw this unit in a YouTube video and bought it right then. Excellent, easy to read, bold numbers on both sides. A nice tape hold on the bottom of the tape for your index finger. A pencil sharpener and pad to write on on the side. Only thing this tape is missing is a coffee making feature. At $7.99 it’s a no brainer, wayyyyyyy better features than my other red or yellow brand tapes. Just a damn good value

I've had this for a while but the lock quit working rather quickly. I haven't had the tape kink or break though, so it holds strong every time I need to measure something long or tall. It's a little bulky for being only 16ft but I really don't need anything much longer and shorter wouldn't work out for my job, so I think this one is a good size. It fits in my pocket easily. Green is my favorite color so I like that this is green and black. I don't really use the writing part much but its cool to have the option. I love the very specific measurements listed on the tape. It really helps me get quick accurate measurements while working. The grip on the outside also really helps when working in tricky spots. Overall I think its a great value, I just wish the lock didn't stop working so quickly, that's rather inconvenient.

I'm a lefty. Hard to read most tapes. Such a solid tape measure. It's lightweight, accurate and draws out super smooth. No sharp noise like other brands. My landscaper saw the tape measure on my deck and liked it so much that I ordered another for him. In the Florida sun, the white background on the tape is much easier to read than the standard yellow. I'm using it for home projects. Thanks!

I bought this tape measure on the recommendation from "the woodsmith store" and a few others. I have to say I really like this product. I like the different features like being able to write with pencil on the tape and white circle on the side. When your done writing on the tape the pencil comes completely off. All my other tape measures the pencil marks were hard to see if they showed up at all. The tape extends smooth and returns well. The bottom brake works well and so does the top thumb stop. The belt clip is a nice design. It uses a thumb clip instead of the normal belt clip. It's way easier to to use this tape measure then all the others that I have used in woodworking. I love it so far. I totally recommend this product. I am definitely getting the flat one next.
