Does this work for alkaline battery leaks?

Don't know. Never tried it for that application. It does work great for lead acid battery terminal cleaning. I would try it with a Q tip application first. May work.

Can you uses it on golf cart battery?

I do not know why you could not..it cleans the terminals and posts and I have used it on vehicles and riding lawn mower batteries.. i would disconnect the terminals and use a throw away rag to be sure you get all the cleaner off both the terminals and posts...

My can did not come with a straw,can you use it with one for tight spaces,thanks

Used this product to clean the connections on my 6 golf cart batteries. WOW! Dissolved all the grease and green acid buildup that was prohibiting electrical charges to connect in order for my batteries to stay charged.Spray on, hose off, wipe dry!!!
