True to every word of its description. Super happy purchase
Unboxing experience was awesome. First experience felt its built and sound just perfect. Its for listeners who love bass so if u love bass in every type of music then this is just perfect. For Ghazals, ballads, country music etc this wouldnt be a perfect choice. This has a very effective 3D surrond stage and sound s superb for Rock, lounge, EDM, Rave and Trance. I wanted all rounder and expected this to do the job but after hearing i told myself will keep for the music its made for. Well done V Moda and Ferrari Video for getting this to us for a very decent price. Am sure these will get better after few weeks of burnin.Had tears after listening to kitaro's Run Huang on LP2. Its many many years i had heard it and just loved how it reflected to hear it on the LP2. Amazing..just amazing.6+ hours burnin : Enigma and Richard Marx..sounds..wow.8+ hours burning : Foreigner Flac Remastered sounds .. Mind blowing.

Awesome build, marvellous sound!
I'm writing this review while listening to Queens of the Stone Age, and I'm enjoying the exceptional clarity of each instruments being played. When the headphones arrived it sounded a bit weird to me because it required a burn in. I constantly played music on my headphone for 23 hours and then I came to know the real potential of this beast. The bass is very accurate with no boom, music sounds the way it has to actually sound. The mids are pretty clear, and the high ends are fabulous. You will certainly enjoy the whole music spectrum on this headphone. As of build quality, it can withstand the worst mishandling, drop or abuse, provided you don't stomp on them xD Also, this headphone is comfortable as I can listen to them constantly for 4 hours. Concisely, these are just prefect. V-Moda Crossfade LP2 Over-Ear Headphones (Matte Black)

JUST WHAT I WANTED...!!!
Great Headphones. Booming Base. And above all Remarkable Clarity....!!!PROS:1. Great Packaging.2. A Really Cool Exo-skeleton case. (That's a big plus point with these headphones)3. Tangle free Cables.4. And Last--> The Sound Quality. Its too good.If you are into BASS (great in SONY), but also want clarity in highs (NON-EXISTENT in SONY), then don't look for any other headphones.CONS:(Only for BIG - EARsss)1. After sometime (approx. 2 hrs of continuous use), your ears may pain.As these are Over-Ear that should not be the case, but as C/M, buy their XL cushions.Oopssss... I forgot one more...THESE HAVE FRIGGING CUSTOMIZABLE METAL HEADS.....!!!! :D :DAWESOME...!!!

Good build and acceptable performance
Good: Build quality, Multiple cables, one cable with mic, Storage case, Overall packageArea to improve: The ear cups could have been slightly larger, also quality slightly better gets warm pretty quick (given the price of the product.)Sound is fine with a Vcurve, suitable for pop and rock music. Less so for jazz, vocals and classic considering competition.

Dont get me wrong the M50x are good (the beats are not they JUST SUCK)
I used to own crossfade lp's and have used them for close a year, but i had to give it away to my brother.I also own a audiotechnica m50x and beats studio(it was gift..i did not buy it). I tried replacing the LP's with the M50x and beats and though every thing will be ok, but it was not.Dont get me wrong the M50x are good (the beats are not they JUST SUCK), but i listen to more EDM's and hence M50x was just not good enuf(Base is kinda low).So i decided to buy the LP's again and i heard about the LP2's from my friend. Checked out the specs its more or less an identical clone of the LP's (Except the mid's are a little balanced in LP2's), so picked it up and i as expected i was not disappointed at all. There is some thing about the V-Moda headphones that stands apart from the rest (build, sound and customer care-EXCELLENT).Now who should buy LP2's:1. Person who listen to EDM's,Base heavy songs2. Person who listen to VocalsOne last thing the headphones are not exactly a good monitoring headphone(Mid's are balanced but m50's are better), if you are into monitoring then M50x or Sony monitoring Headphones would be a better buy.
