Very mild; does not cause itching
Forest essential shampoos rated in order of cleansing strength:Bhringaraj & Shikakai (mild) < Jalapatti & Brahmi < Amla, Honey & Mulethi (harsh)If you use more viscous hair oils buy either Amla or Jalapatti shampoo. If you use light hair oils buy Bhringaraj or Jalapatti shampoo.I was utterly confused between all the variants even after reading multiple reviews so ended up purchasing 50ml of all three together. Now I use these on rotational basis.Tested all of them coupled with Kama ayurveda Bhringraj oil and all three of them were able to get rid of oil in 2 washes ( even the mildest variant). Though Amla ended up drying my hairs.Hairfall: Normal hairfall...did not notice shampoo induced hairfall. If you have shampoo induced hairfall this brand may come to rescue but like any other shampoo it wont do miracles. My scalp itches severely with any chemical laden shampoo...luckily all three variants did not cause this issue. Is it overpriced? Yes, it is. For that matter all forest essentials products are.Still confused? Maybe buy all three in 50ml...either you will love them or save yourself from committing to a bigger bottle. As for me...I find them above average and as long as they dont itch my scalp will continue investing.

Best for travel
It was a random yet necessary purchase. Nowadays it is really difficult to find compact shampoo for travel and I solely purchased it for that purpose. But the shampoo is really good. Ofcourse the natural ingredients are a big plus. Although, you may feel to add more & more amount if you are used to foaming up your hair with lather .

Not value for money product
Fragrance is good and smells natural, but I found it’s too expensive (almost 3 times) for natural herbal product compare to other herbal products in market and result we get is same as other natural & herbal product. I didn’t find value for money for this product.

Good shampoo
Doesn't make hair dry and frizzy. Keeps natural oil intact. But is highly expensive

Go ahead if u r luking fr sum long time remedy..
If u r luking fr a chemical free shampoo then its the one fr u...it makes hair shiny and soft but again...not silky which i always wanted...but no issues its still better than many others...if japapatti and brahmi has done nothing fr u...this will do..i use its sister conditioner alongwith it..yes it doesnt compete with the chemical shampoos but its no less than them..i hv tried i think 80percent shampoos available in india..i think this one also is in competition and yes with a promise of no long term harm...
