I purchased a pocket watch on a whim, not realizing how much I was going to like it! This watch is not only a beautiful timepiece, but it is also a hefty weight, which I find I rather like. I wanted a mechanical wind, and I must caution one not to overwind a mechanical watch; you're asking for a trip to the jeweler for repairs. (I did this with a previous watch.) The only "negative" is that the ticking of the mechanical movement is VERY loud, clearly audible from several feet away in a quiet room.

this item does not keep time, I keep adjusting the time, it still does not keep time.

Such a beautiful treasure and eventual family keepsake. I have been fascinated by mechanical stopwatches and pocket watches since my youth. This is a classic, well-constructed timepiece that I’m proud to carry with me!

The only issue is the chain... I found the locking mechanism ruined all the elegance a pocket watch should have. Despite this, this watch is the one that everyone with the ability to buy it should have one

Very nice watch. Love the fact that it has the seconds hand. Very elegant for the price, can't stop looking at it. Fits nicely in the watch pocket of my jeans and is not bulky like some other watches of the same size.

Really good looking pocket watch. The seller answer my question quickly.The only problem about this watch is that it ticks quite loudly every 1/4 of a second, which can be quite annoying...But generally a really good watch with a decent price

Son had this for 1.5 years. Was very careful with it, used it only on special occasions. It stopped working, took it to jewelers who said it wasn;t worth fixing, all internal parts were made in China, , poorly constructed.
