Can you connect a moen ell to a standard pipe out of the wall?

The pipe out of the wall has to have standard 1/2 inch ips male threads, It should protrude from the wall about 1/2 inch since the female depth thread of the A725 is not that deep.

I'm attaching this to a faucet diverter, what is the connection of the hose end and is it male or female ??

the hose end is the visible black piece in the photo. It has male threads. The hose (presumably to a hand shower or other accessory) will have a washer inside of it that fits nicely onto this output. HAND TIGHTEN ONLY, do not over tighten as it it is plastic and can break.

Will this fit the moen eco performance shower slide bar shower head sku#moe9172?

This worked very well for installing a handheld shower head

Moen Drop ELL excellent

I purchased this for a bathroom I am installing. I shopped around a lot before deciding on this one, and I am glad I did! I almost purchased some cheapie and I am sure I would have been disappointed. The Moen Drop Ell has some weight to it and the finish is excellent! It doesn't feel cheap at all and I am certain it will last a very long time! I am excited to finish the shower now and see how great all the brushed nickel looks... a touch of wow! for sure!!

This is a functional piece that directs the hose down instead of out from the wall it looks nice and is solid. One of the little details that finishes a bath and makes it function correctly. You need it you buy it good deal. All the bath hardware and fixtures I have purchased on Amazon after shopping around alot were the best prices and with the best return and customer satisfaction no questions asked if need to return.
