Adheres well to the window
I absolutely love this product! I installed it on my bathroom window. It's an older house, and for some unknown reason the builders put a window right above the bathtub! Curtains and shades are impossible to keep clean, since mold grows there easily, so I decided to try this instead. It adheres beautifully to the glass and lets enough light in that I can keep a cute plant perched on the window sill. Highly recommend!

Classy!
I used this on the door to my laundry room. I didn’t want to put up a cheesy vinyl blind on my new door, so thought I would give this a try. It was easy to install once I figured out how to separate the vinyl and the protective film. I used some soapy water on the glass, put up the film and then squeegeed the water out. Trimmed the edges with an olfa knife and voila! It even matched the Lahome rug I purchased on Amazon.

Amazon purchase
Item is as described. This lets a lot of light in. But not very private. Easy to see through.

Cutting Hints
I purchased this roll because it allowed me to cover 3 28x34 windows to provide privacy from the yard next door. Make sure your cutter is sharp - don't grab the box cutter you've been using to slice Amazon shipments because there is probably a gummy residue on the blade from tape. I made that mistake on the first window. Don't leave too much extra film on the sides even though it says "Measure & Cut Film With Extra Portion", it just makes it harder to manage (think installing wallpaper). And aim the cutter to the glass not the window frame. I made some scratches on the frame on the first one. The temperature today was in the 50s F and I'm curious what happens to this as the night temperature arrives - quite a bit of moisture is used to adhere it to the glass an even after squeeging I'm not sure what night will bring. It serves the purpose but the Q&A on the directions are comical. Example: "Q: Why it not keep stay on the window? A: Clean the surface of window, ensure without dusty, tear off the backing protective film." The Protective Film is very hard to get started, like trying to get a plastic bag open in the product section at the grocery

Better than expected
We added a door to our house and it looks out to the front. I’ve been agonizing over what to use for privacy but still wanted something light filtering and I just couldn’t get on board with a dorky curtain or shade. We bought this on a whim and it is way better than I imagined it would be. You can only make out shadows if someone is right up against the door. Once you step back from the door you can’t see a thing, not even shadows which is good thing since this is a bathroom.Fitting of it was a little tricky. Some spots we over cut which is a bummer but it’s not noticeable.Honestly for the price, it’s totally worth it!

Gorgeous solution for total privacy
Our neighbor's bedroom window is 15' away from our stairwell windows. We needed a total privacy solution that didn't block the light but also didn't involve drawing a blind over our tall upper window. I'm SO happy with this. It's absolutely GORGEOUS and provides us total privacy day and night. Plus, it catches the light beautifully. This pattern doesn't have any areas that are frosted or opaque, which I think really adds to its appeal. Instead, it provides privacy with areas of ridged textures aligned at different angles - it's almost faceted. Areas that appear clear at one angle would be obscured at another angle, but you can't see through any of it.It was simple to install with a spray bottle, a squeegee (I used the one from our glass shower), and a razor. One of the biggest selling features for me was that most films I found were about 78" long. Frustratingly, I needed 80". This was 100", so I was able to get away with just purchasing one roll. The pattern is oriented points toward the long side of the roll, so if you have a window that's tall, the points would have to point left/right unless you're willing to fight with seams and try to match up the pattern. Since my window panes were shorter than the width of the roll, I was able to choose the orientation to be points up.

A waste of money and time
After reading an online recommendation for this window film, I had really high hopes that it was the product for me. I have an odd sized bathroom window ,(37.5” x 37.5”), so it’s a bit difficult to find a curtain that’s really suitable. I also liked the idea that the window film would let a good amount of light in, while at the same time provide privacy. I’ve used this type of window cling film before (different brand),with great success, and figured it wouldn’t be any different this time. I was sadly mistaken. I followed all directions: thoroughly clean the window, wet the window and the back of the window film, etc... I cut the film to size, did my cleaning and spritzing, applied the film, and used a squeegee to get rid of trapped water pockets and air bubbles. I stepped back and watched the window film roll up and fall right off. I figured there had to be a reason for this so I recleaned the window thoroughly and repeated all the steps. This time the window film stayed up. Two hours later, when I went back into the bathroom, there was the window film- rolled up and laying on the floor. This stuff has no adhesiveness at all. I refused to try for a third time and chalked it up to a waste of my time and money. The only reason I gave this product five stars for ‘easy to remove’ is because it removes itself! I didn’t have to lift a finger to do that part!
