I used to own a Frozen Yogurt & Dessert business and would make dozens of French macaroons daily. I would have loved to have these containers back then to store them in the back fridge while they mature or to set aside a large quantity for pending orders - which would have freed up more space in the Display fridge. They’re also incredibly space saving because they’re stackable, which I really liked. Some reviews noted that they’re a bit flimsy - - I can understand their perspective, but realize you are getting what you pay for. These are meant to be temporary storage containers and not really intended for long term use.I have since sold my business to focus on my family so now I only bake macaroons for special events for very close family/friends. I recently used these to store and mature a large batch of macarons in the fridge and loved how they were airtight and kept each French Macaroon in place. To transport them to my friend’s event I placed the containers in a larger ice box with an ice pack to keep them cool while transporting them. They arrived perfectly in tact and were very easy to remove from the containers when we were placing them on a French Macaroon display tower.I’m very happy with this item and will be purchasing more so I can bake more French Macaroons for family events as they really facilitated the process for me.

Comes with 2 storage containers and each container has 4 inserts for 2 layers of mac's. You can package 35 macs (5x7) per layer. So each box holds 70 mac's. It doesn't snap closed, but they overlap to create a seal. It's not a thin plastic, but it's also not hard like a storage container. It gets the job done.

The slots are quite small, and it's not very sturdy. That being said, it's convenient to store macarons safe and protected from being bumped and cracked.

UPDATE:I ORDERED THESE AGAIN, because I had a big event coming up and I needed more even if they didnt close all the way, and I got the wrong item!!! I did not order them with black bases. Not only that... these dont close at all. The clasps dont match at all. Soo sad. I'm changing my review to 1 star. I have called several times and they dont answer the phone it just goes to a voicemail.Well I though I would give them a shot. For the price, they are actually pretty good. Yes i wish the plastic was a little harder. I do have to wrap the boxes because they stay slightly open due to only having 1 clasp on each side, but over all not bad.1st picture is how I use them in my display case which is great.2nd picture shows how i use them for storage.

I've used these for years to store my macarons in the fridge and freezer, and they are great. They store larger macarons than some other containers available, but not very large macarons.

This product is extremely overpriced for what you get. The plastic cases that hold the macarons are not very sturdy and easily conform with minimal pressure from just a slight grip. This product should half the price at most for what you get.

This was a game changer for me. I made french macarons ahead of time for a party and didn't have a way to store and freeze safely. This was exactly what I needed. It kept the macarons upright and separated so as not to damage them during freezer storage. I also wrapped the entire case in plastic wrap before storing just to make sure it was air tight. A few days later and Voila! everyone at my Valentine’s party RAVED about the macarons. Couldn't have done it easily / well without this case helping me to preserve them in the best way.
