Lightweight and warm!
The fit of the jacket is pretty good, it does fall onto the hand a bit, but that can be fixed with the adjustable cuff, which is an amazing addition. I also love the many pockets in the jacket and the slightly loose fit, allowing you to layer underneath. I wore it in 30 degree weather and it works well with a sweater underneath. It is waterproof and works well when dealing with wind. It really is a great all-rounder jacket, also suitable for mild winters with a t-shirt underneath. I like it.

The quality of this jacket is top-notch
I recently purchased the Carhartt Men's Rain Defender Relaxed Fit Lightweight Insulated Jacket, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The quality of this jacket is top-notch, with durable materials that stand up to any weather condition. The Rain Defender technology is fantastic—it keeps me dry even during heavy rain, and the insulation provides just the right amount of warmth without being bulky. The relaxed fit is incredibly comfortable, allowing for easy movement, and the lightweight design makes it perfect for layering. Plus, the stylish look means I can wear it anywhere, from outdoor adventures to casual outings. This jacket is a game-changer for anyone in need of reliable, comfortable, and stylish outerwear. Highly recommend!

Love these jackets
This is my second purchase of the jacket because I liked the first so much. The warmth to weight ratio is very good. There are a couple improvements that could be made, but overall it's a very good jacket. I'm not crazy about the velcro sleeve opening cinches. They don't allow the sleeves to be tightened down quite enough in my opinion. The material is fairly durable, but I did catch my old one on something and tore it. That's kind of the price for being as light weight as it is in my opinion though. It's still wearable. Downgraded to a work jacket.

Well made, good pockets, 6',180 lbs, size L
This is a nice jacket. There's no skimping in size. It's oversized. I usually buy XL because I layer in winter. But large was roomy. First bought Large Tall for extra body length. Sleeves are a bit long for me but I like that in winter. Pockets are a plenty and well designed. Outside chest pocket is a must for me. This holds phone, etc. perfectly. Liked the product so much that I purchased another in Large. It's to arrive today. Bought both in colors that were on sale here on sale here.As for warmth near the Vermont line I layer, so it's relative. Love these jackets for work and more.Ok the Large came it's not as roomy as the Large Long bought quite a while before. It still accommodates some layering but is tighter in the shoulders.

Punches above its weight
I am 6'3 and weigh 311 lbs. I am fairly large. This fits me perfectly. I bought it based upon a recommendation from a couple of different people about how warm it is. This jacket punches above its weight on that regard. I have worn it in sub 25 degree windy weather and I was impressed with how warm it is for how light it is. Today I found that the rain resistance works very well too. I plan to buy another one in a different color, it is that good.

Rain jacket without a rain hood
Jack it really nice and comfy. Has a lot of pocket options inside and out. If this rain defender jacket had a rain hood, I would give it 5 stars instead of 4.

Warm and light weight
I love this coat. It's warm and lightweight. I struggle to find my size for big name products so this was a great find for a tall man.
