Q: How do you install the cutout? My exhaust has straight pipes, no muffler

A section of the exhaust pipe has to be cut out. Then weld in a y pipe in its place. This cutout will then get bolted on to the remaining section of the y.

You have a 2 way toggle switch to open and close. You have to hold it until it is open, or closed. It's not an open closed button.

Q: What is the measurement between each of the 3 bolts. Is the 2.5 inch cutout and 3 inch cutout the same 3 bolt pattern? Does only the center change?

I would not get this. I went through 2 of them in less than a year. And ended up taking it off
