One of my absolute favorite gifts
I have owned this item ever since my own 25 and 30 year olds were tiny— and it still is the first toy that comes out when there are toddlers in the room. I have purchased it for everyone I can when their child turns two. Fabulous, long lasting fun!

This is a beloved classic for a reason
This toy is so great. I love that the quality hasn’t waivered since my first child played with hers in the early 2000’s. Thick solid plastic pieces. The balls don’t break apart even if they’re thrown. -Let’s face it. Toddlers throw their toys.My 5 and 4 year olds like this as much as the 1 year old I bought it for. I find the balls all over the house. Thankfully there are only 3. :) They like rearranging the levels and seeing which ball makes it down first. It’s simple enough for the baby to successfully drop a ball anywhere on the run and watch it roll down, but complex enough that the nuggets kids have to think and use planning to take it apart and put it back together. The pictures show that the pieces can only go together where the ball will successfully continue to roll down the track. AND the versatility of being able to raise and lower the top by adding more levels or removing them.We used this toy for physical therapy when he was a baby and I fell more in love with it then. We’d move the castle from one side of his body to the other to encourage him to use both of his arms and his core strength to put the ball on the run. 🩷

2 & 5 year old both love it
My son just turned two, and loves the original marbleworks at his grandparents house, but CANNOT be trusted with marbles to play independently. Since my parents and in-laws both have DiscoveryWorks toys from when we were children, I decided that the price of this set was worth it as an investment toy. Both my two year old son and five year old daughter love this. It's very sturdy, doesn't tip over easily and they play with it for long stretches of time, and I feel good knowing he won't be accidentally swallowing a marble. It was definitely worth the price and I'd buy it all over again!

Toy ball castle
Delivered on time. Easy to assemble. She enjoys playing with it. A tad bit expensive for my taste but it was a gift and the brand is typically expensive.

Defective Part
My 1 and 3 year old sons absolutely love this toy, but one of the pieces is malformed so that the ball won't roll down it. We simply removed this piece and the rest of the toy has been fine. Given that it cost $70, though, I expected it to work (and I've played with it in other places where it did).If all the pieces worked, this would be a 5 star toy. The kids love it, the balls are big enough that my 1 year old can't eat them and they have bells inside them which he loves. It is very sturdy and easy to put together. When I called Discovery Toys they told me they could not help me at all because I bought through Amazon (even though it was fulfilled by Discovery Toys). When I called Amazon they said they couldn't ship a replacement part because they aren't the manufacturer. They will take the entire item back with enough leeway to let me reorder it and have it delivered prior to shipping it back - which is very nice, but still frustrating that I can't just get a replacement piece.

A favorite toy
My toddler has consistently enjoyed playing with this "marble run," and I expect it will continue to be a favorite for a couple more years. I like how tall it is, and that the levels are interchangeable, allowing for a variety of set-ups. The other "ball drop" options we considered were too simple and boring. This one seemed like the best! The balls jingle and are different weights, so that they "race" to reach the bottom door. It's not a quiet toy, but the noise has never bothered us. My only complaint is that the tilt of each level is so slight, that an uneven floor can cause the balls to stall. We live in an old house with slightly uneven floorboards, so it takes us some trial and error to get the angle just right so that the balls roll and drop consistently. Sometimes the balls can't quite make it to the next level, and we have to move the toy to a different area in the room or prop up one side with the edge of a book or a bit of cardboard. If the angle of each level was slightly steeper, this wouldn't be an issue. But I assume anyone with perfectly flat floors wouldn't have this problem. I would be cool to be able to purchase additional new levels as the child grows to make the castle taller and more elaborate. But as is, it seems perfect for a baby or toddler. I recommend it!
