Can’t lie—I bought this with every intention of tackling a plumbing project, but that project still hasn’t happened. So the glue? Still proudly sitting in the tool room, untouched, in pristine packaging. I’m sure it works great… someday I’ll find out. For now, it’s the most reliable item I own—hasn’t moved in months.

I had a fairly complicated job to replace a swimming pool filter multivalve. I wanted to be sure to not skimp on the pipe fittings or the cement to join them. I tried my best to avoid some drops but you must work fast and in a certain order for best results. So advice is cover things up if you don't want to drip primer or cement on stuff below. My other two tips, use a sharpie to mark pipes for correct orientation and don't bother trying to dry fit. I find that even the tightest pcv fittings slide right in together if you prime and glue in one continuous process. Be generous with primer and the glue, but no puddling. Just do exactly what it says on the labels and your results will be excellent. You only have a few seconds to push in and twist slightly before it sets! So, be ready. BTW, though it cures fully in 24 hours, I can tell you that you can switch on your pool pump/filter in a hour and the pipes will not leak if you did it right.
