In-Use Video & Review
The media could not be loaded. **Review After 2+ Years of Use**I bought this in Feb 2022, mainly for grating cheese, though I have used it occasionally for slicing vegetables like cucumbers etc. I chose it because of its reasonable price, positive reviews, and the versatile attachments it comes with.Printed on the box are claims such as “Noiseless while operation“ (SIC), and “Unbreakable PC Tube”.•Noiseless? No. It’s very noisy. Quite a loud, grating sound (yeah), although it’s only running for a few seconds at a time, so nothing too much to be concerned about.•Unbreakable? I haven’t tested this out, so I’ll take their word for it.Unboxing it, my first impressions were of the sleek design and its more compact size than I expected. Apart from the clear plastic feeder tube and pusher, you get four cones with various blades. I use the orange coloured one as standard for grating cheese, while the blue cone gives finer slivers, green for slicing cucumbers etc, and yellow for grinding/crumbs.The power cable is about 3' 7" / 1.1 m long and comes with a standard mains plug, but I noticed that it doesn’t have a grommet where it enters the machine, which slightly concerned me. For this reason, I always make sure to avoid pulling on the cable. It’s pretty simple to use; no bells and whistles, just press and hold one large springy button on top for on and it’s running; release it for off. The very first time I used it, a slightly worrying smell of burning oil came from it while it was running. Not a great start, but this did wear off after a couple of uses and hasn’t come back since. The machine works quickly, grating cheese at least three or four times faster than I can by hand, and with practically zero effort. The cheese comes out in fairly standard sized shreds when using the orange attachment, although this varies according to how much pressure you put on the top of the feeder stick; more pressure equals chunkier slivers, although I try not to use too much pressure to avoid straining the motor or attachments. I was genuinely quite impressed with the first results, better than expected, and it seems to get easier to use with time. The attachments are just as easy to clean as a conventional hand held grater, and only those used need cleaning at all; the machine itself doesn’t come into contact with the food, so an occasional wipe with a damp cloth will suffice to keep it looking like new. All good so far.-Pros:• Sleek design• Easy to use• Fast and effective• Stable on flat surfaces• Variety of attachments• Reasonably priced-Cons:• Quite noisy• Initial burning oil smell when running.• No grommet on the machine end of the cable.• No suction-cup feet like some modelsOverall, this device is really quite handy, does its job well, and I wouldn’t relish going back to grating the old fashioned way. Heading towards three years of regular use, it’s still going strong, pretty good value for money, and I would happily recommend it, so it’s five stars from me.I hope you found this review helpful

Looks good, does cheese nicely
Great for cheese!I bought this specifically for grating cheddar cheese. Does the job effectively and the grated cheese looks nice too, the grater-holes are of good shape to achieve this. I tend to do batches of grating now rather than when previously using a hand grater I did it on demand.Yes, it makes a noise. Around 90db from 2ft away. But hey, does that really matter? The appliance feels well constructed and hopefully will last well. I felt persuaded hsving read another review posted after a couple of years use. Mine has only had a few weeks use so far though.

Broke after 6mo
Works very well, unfortunately the feeder broke where it joins the machine. I wish they sold spares.

Waste of money
I bought this to make grating vegetables quicker, easier and less messy. So far I have tried red cabbage and courgette, and both were a disaster. The top part of the machine, where you put the item in, is very narrow so I had to chop up the cabbage before slotting it in. In both cases, the veg dispensed quite quickly at the start but then seemed to get stuck, so I had to keep stopping and cleaning the grater before continuing. I tried all the attachments and the only one that worked half-decently was the slicer, which I didn't buy this for. The veg also flew around when the grater was going so half of it ended up on the counter, which was precisely what I wanted to avoid. I haven't yet tried grating hard veg like sweet potato or carrot; they may work better. But if I still have to grate the soft veg manually then the machine is really not useful. I would rate this a total waste of money - don't waste yours!
