Does what it needs to do for my Hue spots
This extension cable does exactly what it's meant to—extends the reach of my Philips Hue outdoor lights. It's easy to install with the plug-and-play design, and the build quality feels solid. For the price, it's a good addition to my setup, allowing more flexibility in positioning my lights. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that it’s essentially just a cable, so it’s hard to get excited about it. But for what it is, it works perfectly.

Great replacement
This was purchased to replace an existing lead which unfortunately had succumbed to being gnawed through in the garden. I was pleased to find the replacement available on Amazon as a competitive price which has proven great value for money. The lead was quickly delivered and the quality is great as your expect from the Phillips hue brand. Installed effortlessly in a matter of minutes, just make sure that the connectors are screwed close. My garden lights are back and up running at their full functionality and brightness looking great again, would absolutely recommend.

It extends the cable to one of my Lily lights
What can I say about this? I just needed a bit of an extension on one of my lilly lights so I purchased this and it does it's job very well... the fact is, it is pretty much buried underground so I don't see it.

Gets the job done
Bought this to connect a Hue Outdoor Lightstrip located outside to its power supply located in the garage. The problem with the Outdoor Lightstrip is that everything is hard-wired up to the relatively bulky waterproof connector for the DC low-voltage side of the transformer. I didn't fancy cutting up the expensive Outdoor Lightstrip (either the RGBW cable between the controller and the strip, or the DC cable from the controller to the connector), but also didn't want to drill a 1-inch hole through my wall to feed the waterproof connector through. This solved the problem. The complete lightstrip sits outside (i.e. strip, RGB cable, controller, DC cable, connector). I then cut this extension cable in half to feed just the cut cable through the wall, before splicing back together in the garage where water-tightness isn't essential. It's just a 2-core cable carrying low voltage DC power, so a very simply DIY job.

Necessary To Reach Those Far Away Places
Hue outdoor products usually have a reasonable cable length but sometimes a little extra is needed. Unfortunately Hue uses proprietary connectors so unless you are adept with cables and a soldering iron this is needed. It's a cable, water resistant to the right level and works. Currently it's 14.99 but includes a T connector which is 9.99 on its own. Overall its not cheap but it's Hue and you know what to expect.
