I was so pleased in the beginning. 12 plants that looked eager to get growing with leaves already forming. I watched 2 different instructional videos of how to work with these plants. The first stage was exciting. 11 of the 12 plants were taking off. Then I transplanted into cups with soil from the future bed with plenty of sand added in. It had been our lettuce bed. The cups were well drilled for drainage.All looked good until time for the first watering. Some of the plants died no matter what I could do. In 2 weeks I had 7 plants left to put in the bed.Fast forward...3 plants made it and are thriving.I've had this happen before with another company. I got about the same survival from the plants I ordered.Good news: one plant is producing a runner--already making another plant.There aren't any berries yet. The plants aren't established well enough to be making berries.This is my last try at bare root plants...or any plants...through the mail.

I got these strawberry plants for an indoor NFT Hydroponic system so I could enjoy fresh strawberries year round. I was concerned when the delivery was delayed since they are living plants, but it is truly amazing how good they look upon arrival. After 3 weeks of shipping SNAFU, they show lots of green and white young plant growth that I am confident will start my stystem on the right foot. There are probably more than the 10 plants I paid for as well, but I haven't separated them yet to be sure. I would recommend this seller for your plant needs!

I'm a lazy gardener and didn't follow the sellers video instructions to start plants first in pots. Just soaked in water and put into the ground & mulched in a raised bed & small container. Plants arrived quickly, all looked robust and healthy on arrival and after about 3 weeks all are doing great as seen in pic.

These are healthy, robust plants. I thought we had received a bundle of dead roots, but they grew leaves incredibly quickly. For one pot, I followed the instructions exactly regarding sand, but for the other, we used a self-watering highly aerated pot and they grew just fine without any mold or rot. Nevertheless, unless it's impossible to get sand, I would just follow their instructions.The plants have sent out runners into other pots, so this set should be more than enough to supply a household with strawberries all year round if kept indoors under intense light.Strawberries are incredibly fragrant and quite sweet, but make sure they are sufficiently watered or they will dry out before becoming super ripe.

Was looking forward too growing theses bare root Seascape Strawberries but they had other plans. Only one or two out of the ten survived. Maybe I just got a bad batch. Just my experience. Ended up going to the local nursery and bought six live Seascapes for $8. They already have runners to make new plants.

Well honestly, none of the plants lived. But it couldn't have been my fault; who knows.
