Q: Where do you denote size?

The costume comes in clear plastic with a large cardboard label ( 5 or 6" by 12 -18" wide ) that has all of the information regarding the outfit. On the bottom right corner of that label it says "For ages 3-6". Most 3yr old to 6 year old children are approximately the same size so, If I had to guess I would say that is about a 5T - 6T. ( which is large for a 3yr old but covers most children in this range. )

Q: Is the jumpsuit made from cotton or polyester?

100% polyester. But it is really soft. My kid tends to get hot pretty easily and she is fine in this. Washed it and it came out fine and didn't shrink. Great quality. Didn't fade. I've had it a few months and she still loves and looks brand new. Even the gloves and hat are perfect.

Q: I would like to by this for my 5 year old b-day, but he is a big 5 year old - 45" - will it fit him? - and was hoping keeping it till he is 6..

It might work out. My little girl is 6 and about 46 - 47" tall. It fit her perfectly. The suit is fairly roomy and my daughter is a skinny kid, but she wasn't drowning in it probably because of the elastic cuffs at the sleeves and around the ankles. My guess, based on other M&D costumes, is that you should be fine. They are well made and use velcro and elastic .. or just try it out. If it doesn't fit - ship it back?

This would not fit you at all. My grandkids are 4, 3, 2 & 1 and it fits them.

The stars are the limit

This adorable little space suit was originally purchased for my 4 year old niece who dreams of being an astronaut. She fit in this until she was 7 and her brother now wears it. It was such a hit her cousin who is 4 wanted one and I was thankful Melissa and Doug still make this! Great quality and years of imaginative play!

Great Quality Costume

I bought this to donate to the dress up collection at my son’s daycare and they absolutely loved it! I think there were four different kids in it within the first half hour.The quality of the material is great. It is thick, sewn well, and durable. I love that the name tag is a thick plastic and attached well to the suit. My son is only 2 and was still able to wear the suit, even though it was a little big. I just had to roll the sleeves and legs a bit so he wouldn’t trip while walking. The cost is definitely worth it for the quality of the material. I think it will last a long time!

Adorable

This is a quality costume. It runs a little large but the ankles have elastic so your child can grow into it. My grandson will enjoy this for a few years. I bought a 4t and he just turned 3. He wears a 4t right now.

The cutest little astronaut costume

We got this costume for our 4 year old for Christmas and it was *definitely* his favorite gift this year!! He has hardly taken it off since he got it and has been going on lots of space adventures with his brother ❤️ he wears a 5/6 in clothing and this fit him perfectly.
