thumbs up - runs good again
this was a big help on getting my jeep idling good again . had already changed the idle pump and this was the last swap i needed . thumbs up - runs good again

Good replacement of IAC
Installed on 2003 TJ and worked as should. I had error codes, and the old IAC look like it was always closed. After installed parts of the calibration is to drive the vehicle about 5 minutes above 45 mph. After installing the idle is about 3,000 rpm. So be prepared.

Wouldn't buy again
It worked once installed. Unfortunately November the same year is started to die finally giving up the ghost. The sensor didn't last 6 months in my jeep.

... it fits and works in my 1998 Jeep Cherokee ... hopefully longer than the last one .. that one failed after just 1 year.

98 Wrangler with rough cold start idle and acceleration
Cheap and simple fix, just a little tricky to get the bottom screw out. Idles and start smoooth!

Jeep plug wouldn't connect
Something was off on the connector on this. The plug from the Jeep wiring harness wouldn't slide in enough to click in securely. I tried several times. I don't think the terminals were making contact in the plug since it wouldn't go in enough for the latch to click. I ended up getting another one from RockAuto. That one worked.

Part works quite well, wrapped it in aluminum tape to keep it secured. I am worried however about cold temperatures because it seems to idle not as high as id like it to when cold (700 RPMS). At warm idle it runs at 600 RPMS, so it may be better to go genuine if up north. Didn't expect perfect with it being 10% of the price as mopar and got what i expected so 5 stars. has been working for roughly 6 months so far.

Replacement part
This part fixed the issue I was having and none of the mechanics that I took it to could figure out the problem so off I went on changing out all the sensors and other parts tgat needed to be changed due to vehicles year and mileage. All the parts changed played an important role in saving me money at repair shops who have no clue or training when it comes to older vehicles
