Fantastic, real Glencarin glass what more could ya want other than thicker glass
Fantastic edition to my collection of glencarin’s when I saw they released a new glass this Copia glass - I’m assuming it was a standard before the Glencarin was invented; it saod what little reading a Sherry glass originally I’d imagine it’s used in concertu woth other types of glasses the copita is to my surprise, adds a different dimensionsto my neat drinking experiences esp I’m a cask strength/barrel proof. You can’t put it on it’s side to tell you about your neat pour (spills: over poured - | doesn’t then its a neat or 1.75 fl oz pour ) standard jigger size (thank ya Rex n Fam @ Crowded Barrel / the magnificent bastids in the Whisk(e)y Tribe gang!)The glass is ALOT more delicate and not as thick as the normal Glencarin... I don’t want to say I enjoy the Copita more maybe than the Glencarin itself atm. esp the “jam jar liz” but its not: its actual Glencarin glassware made just for this copita and that’s it. In my experience its a toss up if the “jam jar lids” fit or not. GLENCARIN MAKE A LID LIKE THIS FOR OG GLENCARIN GLASS please, thank you ahah. It have the glass embedded logo and copita glass coming in a velvety case in shipping with the gold shiny Glencarin logo (with the stylized G) I will be using both of these and anything Glencarin puts out OFFICIALLY, looking at you glass water jug!Its easy to nose can put my whole nose in the glass no hatsh ethanol layer, it reveals slight differences in them and things in your whiskey you might not find with the original glass but I’d say for people who really like whiskey exploration, teasing out flavors with drops of water: then its a good addition and worth the money? yes but only of your really a neat or straight whiskey lover because I love the taste and also wish Ice Spheres didn’t cool (colder = less taste) and water down your liquor... but I don’t use em anymore as not many whiskeys can stand up to ice... even store select cask strength Balcones Texas Single Malt doesn’t so I dunno what will! Thai Balcones note is so dark that it goes way beyond bourbon to darker areas... love it! Balcones is so UGH in your reference that defined the new category of Texas Whiskey but Garrison Brothers say Bourbon without the bite... but i like the bite and that peated tingly feel liquor massage for your throat in my peated, the heat and flavor of 135-6 proof cask strength which you get ised fl quicker than you’d think.GREAT glass for whiskey lovers!

Beautiful, but fragile
I love this glass. Not for the clumsy drinker. But I love sitting out on the deck in the evening with a dessert whiskey. this glass has a place high in my whiskey rotation.

Good value
Great whiskey tasting glass, nice size, like that it comes with a lid. I have enjoyed using it.

You can tell these are high quality!
When you hold these in your hand you can tell they are high quality! There is a noticeable difference between these and the off brand nosing copitas I have. However, you need to be careful cleaning these. I fractured one by washing it quickly by hand. But, now I know. Since then, I've had no problems, and would easily recommend these to an beginner or more advanced whisky connoisseur.

Nice Glass
I do like the longer stem to be able to hold while drinking and it is a very nice glass to be able to get a good nose of my scotch. The lid feels cheap though. I do have some other lids that fit my regular Glencairn glasses but they do not fit this glass. My lids have a rubber seal to make my regulars airtight but I have to remove the rubber for the lids to fit this Copita glass. Not a deal breaker but I was under the impression that it was the same Glencairn glass as my regulars only with a longer stem!

Perfect
Gave this to my husband for Christmas, and he uses it all the time. He loves it! I will say, it is very fragile feeling so be careful with it.

The Worlds Thinnest Glass
Possibly the thinnest glass I’ve ever seen. It shattered almost immediately after the 2nd-3rd time I used it. Forget it taking on any kind of extra abuse if you plan on indulging. Do not buy this unless you want to display it on your mantle. I can’t imagine it was meant to be used as a real glass. If it is then it’s a joke. DO NOT BUY

Very nice scotch tasting glass
It’s a fantastic tasting glass that I use for scotch. The glass is very thin so one needs to be careful cleaning it. Will likely get another in the future to have when a friend comes over to try out some liquor.
