I picked this up to carry a Taser X2. I removed the securing straps and just use the retention of the taco pouch to hold it in. This is a great pouch and even though its cost is pretty high, my other High Speed Gear has last for several years and I expect this pouch to last a long time as well. The pouches are well constructed, last a long time, and maintain their retention.Excellent purchase and works perfectly for Tasers. I used to use the High Speed Taco Gear rifle pouch for my old Taser X26 and it fit perfect. This may be a little loose if you are deploying it with the Taser X26. The Taser X2 is perfect.

Everything I have for both of my duty set ups is high speed gear so I expected the best and that’s what I got easy set up great retention I have no issues another great high speed gear product. 10 out of 10 wound recommend. And I’ve seen a lot of reviews were people say they can’t figure it out you’re putting the clip in upside down.

Used on tact vest and the item fastens to loops 9n vest.Made of fabric it is not ja4d shelled

It’s will fit the Taser 7 if you needed a molle attaching holster. I do not think the top strap will last for long term use of strapping in and unstrapping.

Used on outer carrier for taser. Durable, sturdy and after nearly 6 months, it’s as if I just put it on my vest. You’ll need mollie straps for a more secure fit but worth the money.

My experience comes from use as a police patrol officer. This is my first HSGI taco, and it is mounted to my outer ballistic vest. Taser used is an X26.PROS:-Looks nice on vest-Retention is good (as far as performing normal daily tasks)-Left or right drawCons-Draw is not smooth as taser gets hung up on pouch, and requires a second hand to break the velcro strip that covers top of taser-Holstering requires a second hand, both to spread the top of the pouch so the taser can start to be inserted, and a second to keep the velcro strip from becoming bunched in the bottom of the pouch.-Safety selector sometimes gets switched off during draw and holstering.-Included MOLLE clips are garbage. I struggled to lace them even when I skipped some rows. I bought some BLACKHAWK! Speed Clips (6-Pack #5), Black MUCH MUCH better. The HSGI clips are so bad I had to cut them off. Mind you I spent 6 years in the military, weaving MOLLE pouches is nothing new for me.Other: Velcro strip is totally removable and not required. With the strip taser is certainly secured, the problem is the strap gets in the way while drawing and holstering. Removing the strap eliminates that problem. However I'm then left with a holster that I, or some bad guy that you go hands on with could draw from.Over all I find more cons then pros with this pouch. that coupled with the $50 price tag = I DO NOT RECOMMEND.UPDATE: I have since been upgraded to the X26p. Draw and holstering has improved, still requires 2 hands.
