The Schwann elm 18 is well built, sturdy and easy to assemble. I will able assemble with the bike fairly quickly and my child is very happy with her new acquisition.That said, I would have liked the saddle to have a handle as my 5 1/2 year old cannot be relied on to brake correctly in the hilly terrain that I live in. The saddle will help me bring the bike to a stop, if needed. I changed the original saddle to one with a handle and added a bell as well.Will add a rear view mirror similar to her previous cycle which she has outgrown.The bike itself rides well, parts fit together correctly and moves freely.In all, a good buy and one that I would recommend

This bike is so sturdy and durable and is making it easy to teach my 4 year old how to ride a big girl bicycle. She loves it. There are handlebar breaks and you can push backwards on the pedals also to break. The seat, handlebars, and training wheels all adjust to grow with your child. The bicycle tires are thick and remind me of mountain bike tires on a smaller scale. The training wheel tires are traditional hard plastic tires but they're made of sturdy plastic, not like training wheels I had as a kid. I feel comfortable with her learning to ride a bike on this bicycle as I feel it will hold up to the test of time.

18inch schwinn pink and light blue, the bike is beautiful first bc we girls and that's the first thing that matters, its sturdy and kinda heavy which is nice for the littles plus our Street is terrible so needs to be sturdy to hold up around here! we're so happy with the bike! my husband put it together in 10 min idk why there's so many assembly complaints it was a standard assembly, and the 18inch comes w training wheels but it's the last size that does we also got a 20 inch and it did not (as expected)

The seat tore within a year. Not sure how to fix that or replace it.

I ordered three new bikes for my growing kids. This meant I had the opportunity to put together three bikes! This bike was by far the best packaged. I almost spent more time taking the bike out of the protective packaging than I did assembling it!Assembly was a breeze! The handle brakes were already adjusted and ready to go. The quality was far better than the two Huffy bikes for my other kids.Super impressed all around! The only negative thing I can think of is the basket is flimsy and will most likely break when she takes a spill.

It is so cute’ I love the retro style look. It was easy to assemble and very well made. My great niece will ride it until she is ready for a big girl bike! It’s a Christmas present so she hasn’t seen it yet and I’m so excited to see her little face when she sees it!

Great looking bike but disappointed that there is a large chip off paint on frame and the front wheel is bent with a clear wobble when tested post assembly. Returning and praying the replacement arrives in perfect shape when it arrives.Packaging was perfect so clearly it was defective at point of mfg

Grandkids loved the bikes. Will purchase replacements once they outgrow this size bike.
