These were the perfect ending to our Alice in Wonderland Murder Mystery Dinner party! We paired them with bonbons under an adorable dome. We received them in a box with freezer packs. We followed the instructions and immediately frozen them u til the night of the party. The filling was silky smooth, the outside crisp! The taste was simply perfection! We’ve been the France and these are pretty close to the ones we had there. The playful colors and design drew me in the but the taste will keep me buying them for another event! Well done and well worth the cost.

I wanted to try these little treats ever since I saw them on some TV show, but I didn’t even know what they were called! As a side note, these are macarons, a meringue-like treat with made with egg whites and almond flour and different flavors of fillings. Not to be confused with macaroons which are the coconut based cookies.Once I learned their name, I was delighted to find them on Amazon after I had no luck finding a local baker that made these. Still there were many choices on Amazon and I picked a couple to try.I’ve never eaten macarons before, so I can’t compare them to fresh out of the oven, hand-made-in-Paris macarons (which I understand are the best way to enjoy them). But I can compare between macarons shipped with and without refrigeration. I ordered two sets of macarons as a birthday present as I wasn’t sure which one would arrive on time (the birthday was an excuse to spend the money on these indulgences). ;)The macarons that shipped without refrigeration tasted amazing, but were a little dried out and some were crumbly. Also note, they were shipped in hot weather. Don’t get me wrong, they were delicious, and if I hadn’t had the Kayla’s Cake macarons, I would never have known what I was missing. I say this to let you know that fresher is better and texture makes a huge difference in these cookies. And the refrigeration seems to help. Just an FYI.However, the Kayla’s Cake macarons came in a refrigerated box. When they were opened, they tasted absolutely heavenly! They had a crisp exterior and a chewy interior with melt-in-your-mouth goodness. My family enjoyed the variety of flavors to choose from – it was the perfect mix from chocolately to fruity. The packaging was exquisite – perfect for a gift. Not a single macaron was damaged.Not that most people are interested since these treats are all about indulgence, but I also appreciate that I was able to get nutrition information for each of these individual macarons (from the Amazon pictures, it didn’t come in the box).Also I discovered if you go to Kayla’s Cake website, you can order a box of 12, 24 or 48 with the flavors you want (Amazon only offers the variety box).Not that I needed one, but I have an excuse to visit Disneyland just to stop by Downtown Disney and get a fresh handmade macaron from Kayla’s Cake. Until then, I won’t even wait for someone’s birthday, I’ll just have these shipped to my door to enjoy them for myself.

While shopping for a list of things on Amazon I came across Kayla's Cake Macarons and decided to give them a try -- figured why not? With all I had to do, it would be one less thing for me to pickup on the way to an event. It turned out to be the best decision I could have made--and they came just in time! I ordered on the 18th and received it on the 21st, well packed and cool/refrigerated and it ended up saving me a ton of time.The macarons were well boxed--perfect to take to my event. The macarons were fresh, beautiful, and yummmy--needless to say, they turned out to be a hit! Highly recommend for any event, as a gift for friends, and for the occasional indulgence.Will definitely order again!

I loved these, how ever I wouldn't order these as a gift or for q special occasion only because I got 3 different dates for delivery and I'm not sure if that is Amazon or the company. I was under the impression I would get them the next day or day after when I ordered (Wednesday/ Thursday) But then date changed and I was just told Monday, so I adjusted and they showed up on my door step Friday? Over all they are good for just a treat for my family.

These are some of the most favorable macroons that I have had the pleasure of eating! I was so excited to receive this little blue box today!! When first received, the item was well packed, surrounded by dry ice packs; I was really impressed... way better than the last macroons I ordered from another seller on Amazon. Unfortunately, I've already eaten 2/3 of the box but I've enjoyed eating each and every one of them thus far! The fruity pebbles and banana cream pie are hands down my favorites but the galaxy caramel, chocolate nutella and the dark chocolate tasted amazing as well!! They're a little pricey, but trust me, you wont be sorry! Worth every penny!I may even have to buy more for myself in the weeks to come or may decide to give to my nursing staff as gifts for Christmas because they're soooo good! If you love macroons as much as I do, then you can't go wrong with Kayla's.

These were the best macarons I've ever had, but oh my god, WHYYYYY were they so expensive? With shipping, my order was about $70. These are good for a very special occasion, but I think catering would be much cheaper.
