Right spark plug for 2007 Chevy Silverado V8 5.3 1500
Don't get the platinum spark plugs. Get these iridium. They both fit great so don't be fooled like I was. Amazon and AutoZone will tell you the platinum ones fit but if you go to a GM parts finder only the iridium ones are recommended. So if you have a rough idle, intermittent hard crank but eventual start, these will likely solve your problem especially if you're running platinum.I had just rebuilt the heads on my 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 V8 due to AFM lifter failure. I wasn't about to skip on the spark plugs but I did cheap out. I got maybe 300 miles out of the platinum ones before the rough idle and intermittent hard crank got bad enough for me to notice. It was too subtle to trigger any codes though. A mechanic friend told me these engines are notorious for running like crap due to the spark plugs if 1) they're not *exactly* at 0.040 gap and 2) if you run anything other than iridium. This is true especially for 2007 to 2013. He said there was a TSB for it but I never found it. Still, I replaced them and 600 miles later the truck is running smooth. As far as the gap accuracy please use a wire gauge and not the coin/ramp style. The AutoZone ramp style was off by 0.02 in my case. And trust me, the spark plugs will be messed up. For me only 2 of 8 came accurately gaped. I don't blame the manufacturer but the shipping process. I didn't want to deal with the gapping because you can mess up the electrode if you don't take your time adjusting the guard. This is why I thought getting some from AutoZone would be better. Theirs were bent worse plus they were more expensive.TLDR: get these.

Worked fine/packaging sucked
They fit fine. Work as they are meant to work for. Only complaint is the packaging was pretty crappy. The box they put these in was way too big causing the spark plugs to come off their packaging. I had to make sure the gapping was correct on all spark plugs due them bouncing around the box.
