Well Done
This book is well written and has a slew of worked out examples. A good undergraduate text, though no solutions manual or selected answers, so I do not recommended this for independenct learners.

Shorter is better
Clear and easy to read, subject material is hard but this book is a great concise explanation of it. Although it's short it still has quality examples.

Headlines are for squares
This book doesn't explain statistical mechanics very well, but I don't think anyone understands it anyway, so how could a textbook be expected to explain it in 6 pages? Right, it couldn't. Other than that the examples are pretty good, as long as you can follow calculus pretty well when intermediate steps are skipped. I was just happy to receive this in the mail within 5 days in pristine condition for half the price of the university's bookstore.

Perfect.
Great book. It is somewhat fast paced. What I like the most is the challenging problems at the end of the chapters - very conceptual.

Book was good, class was another story
I failed out of thermo at Princeton and quite literally switched my major to avoid having to take it again, but I suppose that isn't the book's fault. Met the author at a departmental thing before I switched out and I managed to avoid cursing his name.Anyway, it's a solid book. Explains things in pretty simple terms. Or so I'm told.

Very good book. I wish it had a solutions manual though...so I know whether I'm doing the problems correctly or not...
