Perfect
Left it in for the whole night, since it's not very damaging. Definitely came out with the color I was hoping for. My hair (about 2.5 months later) is faded but definitely still red.

Perfect vibrant red!
I am a huge manic panic fan. I have tried almost every color. My favorites are all of their reds and pinks. They last a long time for me- I only wash my hair about once a week. It is a bit difficult when you first start using this product because you have to make sure to not get this dye on anything because it does stain very easily.

Pillarbox Red? More like Dark Fuchsia
Bought one dye because I was going on vacation and needed to update my hair color. Thought I would be getting a nice vibrant, yet dark red. Pictures in ad look nice and dark, okay, love it, got it. It took me a little while to use it but when I opened it up, everything seemed fine, it was looking red, cool. I'm about halfway done applying it when I realize it's staining like a very hot pink. At this point there's no turning back, I figure "it'll turn dark like my normal dye." Nope. Rinsed it out, immediately noticed all my white hairs are now a hot pink color, while my scalp and face and everything my head touches is now f***ing hot pink/fuchsia whatever tf color. I'm so upset. Results were nothing like the picture listed above for the supposed "pillarbox red" and I knew I should have gone with Garnier Fructis like last time 🤦♀️ I wanted to not mistreat my hair this time and ended up looking like a damn troll. My camera can't even pick up how bad it looks irl 🥲

Very nice color but STAINNNS
So first off, its very nice very vibrant which is what i wanted. it has really strong fushia undertones so i mixed a little yellow dye in with it. Dont do what i did and have it with blonde because naturally it will bleed so i created a nightmare shower routine. For stains on countertops spray them with hairspray and scrub, so that isnt a terrible thing to deal with but overall just watch out wear gloves and dont touch anything white. Use some old pillowcases for a while too.

Bleeds
Always been a great company but the reds tend to bleed all over everything

A pros and cons observation
After reading some of the reviews, I feel people could use a bit more of a heads up on this product. So, here’s my honest review of this hair dye:Pros: —The color turns out really nicely. I have a medium brown natural hair color that fades to dark blonde/light brown at the tips. I can see the red color all throughout my hair, even in the darker brown areas.—A little goes a long way. My hair extends a few inches past my shoulders (like no more than 3 inches), and I only needed about half of the container or less to fully saturate my hair with the dye.—The dye is more of a gelatinous texture, it’s not very runny which is great when you’re a messy person like me. Runny dyes drip everywhere for me, and I normally end up getting some on my floor or counter (so I lay red/black towels down everywhere)… I didn’t have any dripping with this dye, which was super nice…Now it’s time for theCons: — This dye will stain ANYTHING. I’m talking your hands, neck, shoulders, face, back, hands again, your clothing, your pillow case, your sheets… you name it. If it touches your hair (ESPECIALLY YOUR HANDS) and that object touches something else, it WILL get stain on it. Luckily this stain is easy to get out if you get to it right away with hand soap, baby wipes (on your face/shoulders), and bleach (on any surfaces). I have not attempted to get the stain out of my sheets or clothes yet, but I do not have high hopes.—I rinsed the HECK out of my hair, I’m talking a half hour or more under fuggin COLD water (and I’m super skinny, so it REALLY sucks… I had to wrap up my hair afterwards and sit under my heated blanket for a bit so I didn’t feel sick) and I STILL have dye bleeding onto my hands and shoulders and pillow case. I followed the instructions to a tee and even rinsed until the water was “almost clear.”—It’s an oily dye, and it makes me feel a bit greasy. It’s to the point where my scalp is itchy from the greasy feeling, but if I scratch it, I’ll get red stain on my got dang hands. And yes, I did use shampoo while in the shower because I do NOT enjoy the feeling of greasy hair.Overall, because of the cons I would have given this 0 stars, but because the red showed up so pretty in my hair and I feel amazing with red hair again; I’ll give this product 2 and a half stars. Which I’ll round up to 3 for the sake of good karma.I hope this helps some people decide whether or not they wanna try this, but I’ll probably be going to the harmful, scawy box dyes again because they don’t explode into a pink stain hell like these do.

Great product!
Safe to use for my daughter’s first dying hair experience. Her hair is blonde and she chose the red color because it is her favorite and she loves how it looks!! Thanks

Bleeds
I've colored my hair for years and many fun and funky colors and Manic Panic is my go-to but this red was absolutely horrible. It bled and bled and even after a month and a half of where it still would bleed. If you want all of your clothes and towels and anything that touches you to be red then go ahead and use this product
