Westmore Beauty Body Coverage Perfector – Waterproof Leg & Body Makeup - Tattoo Cover Up Makeup - 3.5 Oz (Light Radiance)

I purchased the body coverage perfector in Natural Radiance because I have horrible red and purple spots and bruising on my arms and legs. I also purchased the brush that is sold along with it. I learned that you need a decent brush to spread and buff out the product. So far, I have worn this on my arms and bottom part of my legs. It was very easy to put on my arms and buff it out, then I sprayed on some inexpensive setting spray that you can buy in Sephora, I waited about 10 minutes and then I got dressed and went out. I was pleasantly surprised at how natural it looked and it didn't come off until later in the day. I have no idea how it would do in the rain. It is much harder to brush onto my legs, it takes a long time and it is harder to get it all even, so I have to practice that. I am in my upper 60's and I have very thin skin that has awful red and purple marks on it, and they are hard to cover. For the darker marks, I put on dermablend corrector in the color Sand (30 N), you can just dab it on the really bad marks and then put Westmore body perfector over it. I do not like the dermablend product all over my arms, it looks fake and it is too heavy. That is why I bought the body perfector, it is lighter and looks far more natural. I'll see how this goes and maybe I'll continue to use it.So, two weeks later I have been using this body coverage perfector in Natural Radiance and I have been tweaking my routine. First off, a lot of reviewers feel that it doesn't have enough coverage, and indeed it is called "natural radiance" for a reason, it is supposed to look natural on your skin and not cakey and weird looking. That's why I like it. What I have been doing is to first use a crayon like concealer such as Dermablend quick fix full coverage stick in beige or Minimalist in Bisque, it is thick like a crayon. These are expensive but my dermablend crayon has lasted well over a year and I still have a lot left, so these are used to just dab onto your darkest spots and then use the natural radiance, just put a small amount onto your brush, it has to be a good buffer brush to blend everything in. I don't use Dermablend or Minimalist crayons all over my legs or arms because they are too thick and look unnatural. This is why I like Natural Radiance because it looks like my skin, only better! You should play around with the color of your crayon, you don't want it to be too light or dark, and then play around with how much natural radiance you need to cover up dark spots and veins. I am in my upper 60's and have ugly dark red and purple spots all over my legs and arms and veins, and I know I will never be able to cover up all of these and I'm OK with that. Westmore Natural Radiance makes me look better, not perfect. Try it and see. Westmore Beauty Body Coverage Perfector is a total game changer! It covers scars, veins, and uneven skin tone effortlessly while still looking natural. This is a pretty decent product. Definitely buy a blending towel or a blending brush to apply. I have unsightly varicose veins. This product definitely made my legs look a lot better. I put it on the night before a wedding, to look like I had a nice summer tan. This is a buildable product, if you decide that you need more coverage, just add more where needed. I suggest applying it the night before an event or beach day. I suggest: Exfoliate, shave, shower; then apply it. Let it dry for like 20 mins to an hr before you get into bed. I think it’s best to put on a dark, long-sleeved shirt, and a dark long pair of pants, after it’s applied and dried, so there is no transfer to couches or chairs, or bed linens. If you give it a good chance to dry, it really shouldn’t mark anything up. I’m giving it only 4 stars because I feel it is a tad sparkly, just a tad. If you have any white spots on your skin, it will sort of illuminate those white spots. But overall, covering with this body foundation is better than not applying it. Overall, I feel I looked better— with a healthy glow. I was happy it didn’t seem to turn orange, like so many of the early body foundations made your skin look.

I had some really high hopes for this stuff after all of the videos and reviews I watched but I was slightly disappointed. I’m still rating a 3 for the nice tan/glowy bronze effect but it looses points for lacking cover, washing off easily and price.Pros- once you let it dry, it actually does stay put and doesn’t rub off on stuff which is nice!- it does give your skin a tan and glowy look which for summer is prettyCons- it doesn’t really cover up the way they depict on all the video. You get a slight cover up up spots/veins/ etc but not nearly as much as they make you believe. It’s better used as a self tanner/bronzer type thing rather than a true cover up. If you have any darker spots or veins you’re trying to hide, forget it. It won’t do the job.-washes right off in the shower with basic soap. I thought I read it would only come off with something oil based but that wasn’t the case. If you’re looking for longevity, the only way for that to happen is to not shower.-TO EXPENSIVE for the amount you get, especially so considering how much you have to use and it’s basically a re-apply after every shower situation if you want a constant look!Also, I bought the brush and it is NOT great for application at all. Your best bet is to apply it thoroughly with your hands and then use the brush to help ensure it’s evenly distributed and get that airbrush effect, especially when trying to blend in around your knees, ankles and feet.
