I used it for the wiremold plug strip, I hard wired. I used crimp caps, so I had enough room to tuck the wires behind the plate. It looks cleaner than using a cord. Keep in mind it's only for the wiremold 2000 series.

Worked well for wiring-up our kitchen under-cabinet appliances power strips. Clean hidden look to avoid outlets on tile backsplash. Put under cabinet LED strip lighting next to it for clean continuous hidden under-cabinet task lighting. Clamping mechanism for fastening it to the actual power strip is a bit flimsy, but I was able to get it to work well enough.

IF you use wiremold (sometimes called Plugmold) outlet strips, this end fitting is essential for properly wiring the Wiremold. It arrived on time and is priced at reasonable level. These are typically NOT available in the box stores that sell the wiremold, itself.
