Fasco #54 - Coal Tar Epoxy - 1.5 Gallon Kit

I had to make some repairs to my steel houseboat pontoons. This stuff worked great. Easy to mix, applies very thick adheres great and hardens like steel.

Mixed easy. Went on easy with a 1/4” nap roller. Dried in a day. Had about two hours working time. Covered about 250 sq ft. Comes with one gallon tar and 1/2 gallon activator. Would recommend.

I was in a pinch and Sherwin Williams was out of stock on coal tar, so I bought this to keep a project moving. It took 10 days for this to even give the appearance of hardening. This stuff stayed wet for so long, it actually ran off vertical surfaces. Even 2 weeks later you could still leave prints in it. Typically, coal tar dries overnight, at least that is what I have come to expect in the past 10 years of using another brand. Sorry, but I was not at all happy with it.
